,,but ended up being pretty good actually. I myself wasnt expecting DDP and Savage at Spring Stampede 99 to be as good as it was.

Batista vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 23 It's so strange how great this match was. In all honesty it's probably one of the better "big guy" matches I've ever seen.

Warrior/Hogan at Wrestlemania VI. Given how limited their movesets are, it's amazing that match was as great as it was. Though, the hype, the drama, and the hot crowd played a lot into how good that match was.

I'm not sure a whole lot of people thought that Triple H vs Taker last weekend at Wrestlemania inside Hell in a Cell would've been that good, given the mixed reviews for their previous encounter last year. Yet, it was awesome.

Big Show versus Mark Henry several times last year, particularly Vengeance. This immediately came to mind for me.

I remember a Heat main event with Maven/HHH that was surprisingly good. You could almost believe that Maven could have won the belt.

Big Show versus Mark Henry several times last year, particularly Vengeance. In a match sort of related to this one: Big Show VS Daniel Bryan on SmackDown! (their first one). I was very impressed by how well those two work together, especially considering that I wasn't expecting much (I didn't think Bryan could do a lot with a guy Show's size; and Show has been slowing down lately). It was one of the best big man VS small man matches I've ever seen. That match and the ones between Show and Henry had me really looking forward to that Triple Threat Cage Match at the Royal Rumble.

Taker vs Jeff Hardy ladder match. I thought a ladder match with Taker would suck...
