Is that the jobbers he faces are laughably pathetic? So much that even the regular jobbers are laughing at them?
O...kay?

Yeah, that is just strange. Also it was bizarre for me that they on-air referred to it as a squash match before it'd even happened.

Yeah, it's weird. Though I like the return of the local jobber.

I am guessing they will continue with this for a while, until they debut someone from FCW in the "local jobber" role, who ends up pinning him with a roll up or small package.
Like Ramon/Kid.

What I like most about the local jobber thing is the weak ass promos they cut.

They need to have the jobbers fail lie detector tests first.

Let him lariat those jobbers every week, because DAMN was that sick. I seriously don't get why that is not his finisher. I mean that got the crowd up and then he went into that half assed MuscleBuster/Samoan Drop/Fisherman's Buster and they all sat down again.

I like that the jobbers get a chance to talk before getting steamrolled. They're definitely getting their money's worth in these appearances.

I like seeing it as a set-up for his finisher, even though the lariat looks more impactful. It's similar to Goldberg spearing his opponent before hitting the Jackhammer.

Didn't the jobber land on his neck/head after the lariat? Let's say he broke his neck as a result, isn't it Rybacks responsibility in keeping him safe? He looked pretty reckless.
As far as the comparisons for Ryback to Goldgerg. That's like comparing The Renegade(RIP) to Warrior. There will never be another one like him.

I'm just glad he's throwing around the lariatos again. Those things are SICK.

The jobber landed on his neck because that's how he sold the move. It wouldn't be Ryback's fault if he got injured because of it. It's not like the move can actually make you do a backflip. And I wasn't comparing Ryback to Goldberg. I was explaining the reason why I like the lariat as a set up, rather than using it like an actual finisher. While Ryback could finish his opponent with the lariat, he likes to add one more move to really punish them, just like the spear and Jackhammer combo.

Got both points. Like someone else mentioned, there is one plus. The return of the local jobber. The 5 seconds they are given on the mic is hilarious.

Yeah it's kinda weird. Almost feels like a setup for a "he's all hype" type of crash once he has to face a real opponent.

I thought his gimmick was that he stole RVD's singlets?
