Trump Challenges Stewart To Face Him On WWE SmackDown
NEW YORK CITY – His ego bruised, Donald Trump erupted in fury at Martha Stewart on Tuesday and demanded that she wrestle him this Friday night on WWE’s popular ‘SmackDown’ television show.
Martha Stewart “gladly” accepted the challenge, according to her publicist.
The trouble began when Stewart suggested in a weekend interview with Newsweek that her version of Trump’s hit show ‘The Apprentice’ failed because Trump was a “piece of rat-filth” who wanted her to fail.
Stewart also said that show producers asked her to fire Trump on air, but at the time she declined out of pity for the “rat-bastard.”
That was too much for "The Donald," who angrily retaliated at a Barnes and Noble book signing appearance yesterday.
“I dare that frisco dike to say those things to my face! You hear me Martha?! I challenge you to face me in a cage-match on WWE SmackDown this Friday night, and then we’ll see who’s really the boss!”
“The ‘Queen of all Bitches’ is gonna get fired once and for all!” fumed Trump amidst cheers from his devoted legion of 11 ‘Trump-a-maniac’ fans. “Her show failed because she’s a disgusting, detestable c***. Why I gave that convicted felon a shot in the first place I’ll never know, but I do know this: she will rue the day she decided to mess with ‘The Donald!’”
Ms. Stewart was not amused.
In a statement released today she declared, "I will face that bloated punk Trump anytime, anywhere. He seems to forget that I know him, and I know his many weaknesses. He’s in for a rude awakening come SmackDown time!”
Personally contacted by Trump, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon says he jumped at the chance to host the battle between the two magnates.
“This will be a very exciting fight between two highly successful pit-vipers,” said McMahon. “For your viewing pleasure, we’ll be setting out extra chairs, tables, and baseball bats for this match. If all goes well, high profile ‘celebrity’ battles will become a recurring part of World Wrestling Entertainment.”
The sudden feud between the two moguls is a parting of ways for the pair, who just 6 months ago were working the TV circuit as a tag-team.
However, media analyst Christopher Seifert thinks that the feud might not in fact be genuine.
“I think it very likely that these two are in cahoots,” said Seifert. “Both have fallen out of the public eye as of late, and drastic measures are needed to remedy the situation. A feud is the perfect way to fuel ongoing interest in both of their brands. Just like it was with Tupac and Biggie.”
The match is scheduled for this Friday night at 9PM EST on the UPN network.
Interesting.
