Do they think showing people in the back talking about how impressive he is at squashing jobbers will get people to like him?

I like watching Ryback squash people a lot more than watching Brodus and Tensai squash people...

Just trying something different, having the jobbers go "whoaaa get a load of this!", before they inevitably get squashed themselves. It kind of makes them look better too, and makes the poor jobber look even worse. Even Heath Slater is laughing at you, man.

Him and Tensai are gonna continue to squash everybody and fight it out to see who keeps their undefeated streak alive at WrestleMania. Maybe Brodus can make it a triple threat. Smell the moolah $$$

Has anyone in the last few years ACTUALLY gotten over via repeated squash matches? Brock Lesnar is the last guy I can think of who legit got over in this fashion, and that's because he began by squashing the Hardy Boyz at the peak of their popularity. (And he had Paul Heyman to talk for him.)

Has anyone in the last few years ACTUALLY gotten over via repeated squash matches? Nope. Yelling "FEED ME MORE" gets you over though. Worked for Matt Hardy...

He's converting all of the jobbers he beats into a wrestling version of the Commando Elite

The only reason I pay any attention to Ryback's matches are because of the chance that I might see one of my favourites watching it. So far I've been rewarded with Hunico and Camacho guffawing, and Heath and DMac randomly thrown together to watch.
Ryback himself, though? Didn't like him in Nexus, don't like him now.

Showing the locker room having fun helps establish him as a face, maybe?
Mostly just something different I'd guess, to make it feel distinct from Brodus or Tensai squashing some poor fools.

I thought most people wanted more jobbers?
The key is not to run it TOO long.

I still think that it will lead to one of Ryback's jobber opponents putting up a fight and surprising the guys watching. Well, either that or the guys watching decide that the show isn't any good and shoots the TV.

Another thing, are we supposed to feel pity for these jobbers when they make complete asses of themselves on the mic?
