Well, if people keep paying to see it, it will keep happening.
I love ECW as much as the enxt guy, but I'm done. Do meet and greets and stuff. You guys have hurt yourselves enough for us. We can appreciate you in other ways.

On top of it all, I can't see random local indy guys being on an ECW reunion show as a good idea. No wonder the fans booed the matches/segments involving wrestlers who weren't ever in ECW. I didn't say random indy guys. I said guys not affiliated wth major promotions. And instead of having dumb ass masked guy interference it being The Naturals would make sense because they have history in TNA. Douglas was their mentor during the new Franchised Naturals era. Homicide was there his talents would have been appreciated by the crowd. Anythings better than balls Mahoney vs Axl Rotten and I am not even being nice about them hurting themselves for our entertainment. Cause they are not. No one is either paying for or entertained by Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten beating each other up. And this si coming from a guy who went out of his to purchase and maintain mint condition a Balls mahoney wweecw action figure.

Unprotected chair shots to the head, I assume, during the Balls Mahoney/Axel Rotten match? These guys will never learn until it's too late. I hope Shane Douglas took this show as a wake-up call. Nobody wants to see him anymore. Hang them up and move the f*** on with your life. I came here to make these two points.

Extreme Championship Wrestling: duration roughly 7 YEARS (1994-2001)
One Night Stand reunion (Hardcore Homecoming as well): 4 YEARS later
7 YEARS later we get another crappy reunion show? oh COME ON SHANE, HANG IT UP AND RETIRE FROM WRESTLING FOR GOOD

Remember when he said "I refuse to represent an organization that died, R.I.P., ten years ago" after throwing down the NWA title. Yeah.

I'm sure Shane will blame Dick Flair for the problems at Extreme Reunion

IF anyone expected different they are silly. One night stand was about 7 years ago I think and that was about the last time these guys had anything going for them. The hardcore Homecoming tour was good and should have put an end to all of this. Even if these guys were still capable and weren't all washed up junkies they still have not realized that these things are boring stale. How many times can you watch Jerry Lynn vs Justin Credible and balls Mahoney vs AXL Rotten? I don't care about seeing the BWO reunion it should have died after its stint in wwe. If Shane was truly looking to create a new brand/promotion he should have used some young guys not affiliated with other top promotions in matches with some ECW originals. How about introducing a new tag tag team and have them wrestle the FBI or Balls and AXL. I would enjoy the FBI facing The Naturals. Plus Shane books himself in the main event and goes over? Nothing about this is appealing to me at all and I will laugh when it fails. That is why I expected this "company" to fail. Because I fully expected Shane to do that book himself in the ME and win. I am amazed that it drew 2100 fans. I know Shane will have a video up soon enough to brag about it. But ignoried how it was crap on by most of the fans there. The whole ECW thing needs to just die. I'm sure TNA and WWE don't care about the "being served" Hell even if they heard about it that likely laugh and moved on. I bet the next show will draw about half which still good for an indies. But yeah I do feel kinda bad about Shane plans getting screw up by something he couldn't control but hard to feel sorry for a guy who is such a prick.

What they should have done at the end was, if Shane was going to go over, then bring in a new star to jump him at the end of the match. Someone like a Sami Callihan, or even Homicide. Have him be the big new star of the promotion, as Shane wants to tour. The show itself did well with the concept, but you need new people to come in.

Sounds mostly bad, save for the Lynn-Storm match, which I'd really like to see. Ruckus & Sabian are great performers, so I'm sure their tag match wasn't too bad.
Does any one know what promotion Lynn will do his last match for, and who his final opponent will be?

MUCH less so about Sabian.

I hate that this show got 2100 to attend it, and 3/4 of them have probably never even heard of Ring of Honor or CHIKARA.

I feel bad for Shane. I know some people can't stand what they feel is bitterness, to the point of being venomous towards WWE and TNA and those he feel wronged him but I think he loves ECW and what it meant to him a lot of guys at the time (and maybe still) that he will put on what he knows was probably a bad idea and probably keep going. To me Shane is like a college student who may have had hard times in elementary school, may have tried hard at studies or athletics but there were more popular students and he got shoved to the side, then comes High School and it's an even bigger pond and even more pushing to the side. Finally comes college and it's a more diverse and excepting atmosphere where no one person rules the school and he finds himself. First came WCW where he felt he could count on Flair to give him a veterans opinion and Shane feels wronged that Flair didn't come through (first WCW run). Then comes WWF (his 1995 run) and he comes up against the kliq and has problems. Then comes another ECW run when it was probably at it's best and he finds a more generous atmosphere to his liking. It meant a lot to him and he just wants to relive it. But a lot of things come to an end and unfortunately for a lot of people ECW was one of them. Had Shane Douglas not spent a good chunk of his career slagging off wrestlers for not being able to move on from their glory days I might of felt sorry for him. Not to mention I really don't see how the man himself can see ECW as some sort of Shangri-La when he left the promotion twice for a better pay day.

If this keeps up, they're going to have to start filling these reunion shows with WWECW alumni to pad out the roster. TIFFANY PRESENTS EXTREME REUNION XXVI! KEVIN THORN VS. DJ GABRIEL VS. BIG V VS. BRADEN WALKER! The Philly fans will love it. That'd be a large improvement.
