I must say, the buildup to Punk/Bryan has been legendary.

I will be attending at Over the Limit PPV in Raleigh, NC. I haven't attended live event since 2001 Survivor Series in Greensboro, NC. I decided to try this one since this will be in my home state of North Carolina and almost all wrestlers I knew in 1980s to early 2000s are gone except for Chris Jericho, Triple H, Kane, and few more wrestlers. I am looking forward to Bryan vs Punk match since I love technical style wrestling.

Attended two WCW PPV's in 1998-1999 and since then I have been to two house shows and a RAW back in December. I hope the card is halfway good, excited for Punk/Bryan and I want Cena to kick Johnny Ace's ass really bad. He is a walking douchebag with ZERO charisma and cannot even get through a promo without stumbling over his own words.

Honestly, ignoring how good the matches might be, based on the build alone this show is looking bad at Vengeance 2011 levels.

You mean you weren't interested in Big Show trying to kill del Rio because his manager accidentally hit him with a car after Big Show was a dick to them for no reason, or the legendary team of New Nexus trying to win the tag titles?

I'm getting the exact same vibe from this one too. But the other two are good comparisons too.

It was a dud although I get to see my favorite wrestler Bret Hart in the WarGames event. I don't like Cena and Johnny Ace. They can't do great promos like Macho Man and Jake "The Snake" Roberts did in the glorious days of WWF.

At that time, I did not realize what a bad show it was until I watched it on video a few days after. When DDP won the WarGames, I think the crowd farted in unison.

What drives me crazy is that we finally get a CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan PPV match for a world title, and it has gotten ZERO BUILD, and the main event will be Cena vs. Johnny Ace, with a Big Show heel turn, or a Brock Lesner run in.
This PPV deserves a horrible buyrate. I'm sure the wrestling will still be good though.

Being a dick doesn't justify running someone over with your car just because he was sitting on it and refused to move. It's like how people are saying Big Show deserves to be fired for making fun of Funkhauser's voice. Yes because making fun of someone's social quirk is grounds for firing someone. That's like if I poked fun at my headteacher for his lack of hair and I got excluded because of it.

Just ordered the PPV. Can't wait to see Ace and Cena give the "6 star match of the year" performance of a lifetime. I'll be able to tell my grandchildren where I was during the legendary Cena/Ace bout of 2012. Oh, and that Punk/Bryan thing. Whatever they're doing. Fighting over a japanese shampoo commercial or something?

Oh, and that Punk/Bryan thing. Whatever they're doing. Fighting over a japanese shampoo commercial or something? Bryan whizzed on Punk's leg by accident.

Really looking forward to Punk/Bryan.
The Bryan/AJ segment from Smackdown last week actually made me dislike Bryan's character.. he really came across as a massive jerk.

any chance Punk/Bryan goes 60 minutes??
I could possibly see it with only 5 matches announced so far. I'm sure there could be a throw away Cody/Santino match or a Brodus squash.
5 minutes for the divas match 15 minutes for the Cena/Laurenitis match. It will probably be short but with possible shenanigans after. 25 for the 4 way 15 for the tag match
Then about 30 minutes of intros/recaps/backstage stuff
So that'd leave plenty of time for Punk/Bryan to go an hour! It would be the only redeeming thing about watching this PPV. I mean, i'm sure the 4 way will be good and the tag match should be decent, but C'MON!! PLEEEEEEAAAAASE!!!

To give you an idea of what to expect, only slightly over half of the last PPV (Extreme Rules) was actual wrestling (around 1 hour and 37 minutes), meaning that the rest was entrances, post match celebrations, videos and backstage segments. So, while Bryan/Punk won't be short, don't expect that long of a match.
