Hulk letting them know he's going to abandon ship before they hit the iceberg. THAT right there is how you'll know when the ship is sinking, when the biggest rat jumps off.

Last time this happened the fans picked Desmond Wolfe and Hogan and EB quickly ignored it. Do they have the guts to go all the way with this? touché, brother!

^^ yeah, how about building your ideas & arguments on FACTS, Hulky? How about you do the same, cause the ratings thing is true, backed up by the death of WCW book.

Am I the only one who though this was a surprisingly honest, level-headed and thoughtful thing to say?

We are focusing on the wrestling and really feeling the vibe
You need to have these momentum-shifting moves
We are going to give more power to the fans, make them more involved and more important
As we build him up it’s like a volcano that ready to explode
They’re team players and it will help both of us to be open and take that leap of faith
If we can get this thing firing on all eight cylinders, get traction and do the right thing, you never know
So tired of buzz-phrases like this. Just stuff to get people excited about...well...nothing. There's no substance.

And certainly not anything we haven't heard before from Jeff and Dixie.

Go ahead, find a Nitro/Raw head to head where Nitro's rating was 3 TIMES that of Raw. I'll wait. In fact, if he said there was a point where Raw was tripling Nitro, he'd be closer to the truth.

A handy graph on the Monday Night Wars : I see a couple spots that Nitro might have doubled Raw's rating...only a couple though. No triples.

Then we came with the NWO idea and I feel the same thing now. (The WWE) is banging me on TV again, having The Three Stooges dressing up as me, showing footage of Brock Lesnar beating me last week. They’re worried about something. Ok, yeah.. they're really worried about TNA. I'm not trying to bash Hogan or TNA.. because I have no real bias but I think they last thing WWE is concerning themselves with is what Hogan and TNA are doing at the moment. Hogan is easy to imitate and Sasso does a decent impression. As far as footage of Lesnar beating Hogan, I guess they wanted the fans to remember Lesnar destroying big names in WWE and considering the fact that the majority of his biggest opponents are no longer with WWE, who are they going to use?

In fact, if he said there was a point where Raw was tripling Nitro, he'd be closer to the truth. It shows right around the early 96-97 range on the graph there. Also, even if it was just double, when did that not be good enough? It's almost arrogant to assume "Oh, please, doubling ratings isn't that big a deal. Anyone could do that."

There's a big difference, and Hogan should be more careful in his embellishments now that he's the face of a company.

No, the issue here is that he said 3 times, someone called it out as being BS, and you said "No it's true". And it's not. I would've let the hyperbole slide, but you came in and backed his false claim.

RAW ratings were around the 1 area, while Nitro above the 3. That looks like triple. And, really, it's almost like just cause it's Hogan, nothing he says is believable, even though he made good points, like how he doesn't think a quick fix would work, and how he understands that he can't go as well as has to accept that. But it's hogan, so make fun of his math!

What I saw wasn't a graph, it was the ratings numbers themselves, and I checked 2 sources to be sure. But hey, keep on posting and spinning the argument towards "wahhh you just hate Hogan", instead of just admitting you're incorrect.

I already pointed out where I saw the changes Hulk was mentioning, twice. If you disagree, then say it. And, again, people talk about how Hogan is just talking out of his ass in every interview, even with mentions that people actually wanted him to make, like: For those who keep worrying about Hogan winning the belt every week. Or: For those who keep going on about "NO QUICK FIX!" and about Hardy getting back in his old role too fast. Those seem like points that do indicate Hogan at least understands some of what people have issues with. It's not just buzz words and hype pitches.
