Damn, I thought the first ever meeting of Daniel Bryan and Jerry The King Lawler would have had everyone calling their friends and telling them to tune in.
I just don't get THIS...BUSINESS (Triple H TM).

I was casually watching and tapped out when Kane and Khali started going at it.

Not bad, but it was the show following a pay per view that had quite the main event so there was bound to be interest afterward.
Now we'll see how many of these people they can retain next week.

Hopefully the ratings slowly but surely rise, and the quality of the show continues.
I haven't been this excited about WWE in a long time, things seem less predictable than they've been in a long time

See what happens when you put the Miz back on TV, and the minute he lost the beat the clock challenge, all the fans leave. It's science really.

It appears the rating was drawn based on the curiosity of the show and Lesnar, since the first quarter with Lesnar, HHH and John Laurinaitis did a 3.53 and was the highest rated segment of the show. The second quarter lost only 9,000 viewers, but Lesnar putting the Kimura on HHH came after the 15:00 mark and I’d guess that period did huge and they dropped for Santino Marella vs. Miz. Layla vs. Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella lost 479,000 viewers. Chris Jericho vs. Big Show and Brodus Clay vs. JTG gained 282,000 viewers. Randy Orton vs. Jack Swagger lost 68,000 viewers in the 10 p.m. time slot. You could probably count on one hand the number of times they lost viewers in that slot over the last year. That’s the time of the show that people naturally by force of habit gravitate toward. The tag title change with R-Truth & Kofi Kingston over Primo & Epico lost 245,000 viewers. Great Khali vs. Kane gained 81,000 viewers. Daniel Bryan vs. Jerry Lawler lost 198,000 viewers. The final segment with John Cena being attacked by Laurinaitis, Lord Tensai and Sakamoto gained 578,000 viewers to a 3.49 overrun.

So the final Beat the Clock match, the one that would confirm who would challenge Punk for the WWE title at the next PPV, apparently got the least viewers out of any segment of the night. Not a good sign.

Not a good sign. Yeah, who would have thought putting an 80 year old announcer in the ring would backfire so bad. Actually I think the Miz/Santino did worse.

It's funny but I wonder if people tuned out for the wrong reason. I tuned out when Bryan's music hit. First by tuned out I picked up my pc and started doing stuf. second Not be cause I dislike Bryan but because I thought it was pretty much gonna be a Lawler feel good moment, he manges to last till the buzzer. I just didn't think they'd go with Bryan/Punk. He's on Smackdown. He ust had the WHC. He's still involved with Seamus and Possibly DelRio. It really is starting to have that anything can happen feeling.

The only reason 81k tuned into Khali vs Kane is because everyone was lured in by Kane. That man was selling salt to a slug that night. Khali was on the ground most of the match and Kane had to make payroll.

such marquee matches like Santino/Miz, Kane/Khali, Layla/Bellas, Brodus/JTG, Foreigners/Truth+Kofi and YES/Lawler, plus 4 repeats of the opening segment don't get higher ratings? I'm appaled!

As much as we hate to admit it, Khali is over. As is Kane.
