This has got to be one of the best swerves ever. Matt and Adam are pritty friendly to the net fans, they know how to take advantage of that. I thought from the begining that it was all just an angle. How much would you boo Edge if none of the Net backstory came out? anyone who hates this is just a HATER.

Reading Matt Hardy's message board is the funnyest thing ever. Some of this fans are heartbroken, calling him a sell out, and turning their backs on him. Great stuff.

It is now mentioned on WWE.com!!!
"Following the events that occurred Monday Night on RAW involving Matt Hardy, Lita and Edge, Hardy has posted comments on his own personal Web site."
Then it gives a link to his website to see what he said.

I'm willing to bet that Matt and Lita really split in an amicable fashion, and that everyone was worked from day 1 (when she 'cheated' with Edge). I even think Edge's ex-wife was in on it.

I swear, when he first attacked Edge before the match, and you couldn't really see his face, they had come up with a 'fake' Matt like they had the fake Diesel.

I'll repost this here.
If you think this is a 100% work from the get go, the release, the adultery, everything. Then you are criminey jeezeing retarded. If you think it's a 100% shoot, you are also criminey jeezeing retarded.
What happened here is exactly what it looks like happened if you'll all stop marking the criminey jeeze out for 5 minutes.
Lita cheated on Matt with Edge, WWF realizes they have to release one of them and, in a sign of sheer class, release the guy who got cheated on. The previously ignored internet smarks get pissed, and start chanting Matt's name at all the events. WWF tries to play off this by teaming up Lita and Edge and replacing Matt with Kane as the sympathetic one. It fails. So they tease Matt Hardy's music a few weeks ago, to test the waters of bringing Matt back. Matt, decides to choose $$$ over pride and returns.
The IWC is so shocked at seeing something actually entertaining on Raw that they all forget about rationality and assume that the WWF planned for three months an angle that involved a wrestler getting legitimately released from the company, to the point where's already been booked on and being promoted in several indy shows. Do you think TNA's in on it too? Because I'd imagine they've been in pretty serious negotiations with Matt, considering they've done everything to promote him at their upcoming PPV short of using the words Matt and Hardy in the same sentence. Surely this must been a conspiracy of Illuminati-esque proportions considering that everyone even remotely related to wrestling in the criminey jeezeing US is in on it except the IWC.
Personally, I'm not happy with Matt Hardy. He went for the money, and that's within his rights. I hope he makes a million damn dollars. But he went back to the company that's been exploiting his personal tragedy, rubbing it in his face, for months. He choose a payday over his pride.
But with all that being said, I actually wanna see where this is going, and might even watch Raw next week. Though I probably won't.

It's a shoot that turned into a work, I think.
No disrespect to any Matt fans out there, but I just am not all that enthusiastic over his return. I still remember one reason why he was let go in the first place, and that was all the usual stuff: "creative had nothing for him", regular contributer to Heat, blah, blah, blah. He didn't become this cult hero until this entire thing with Lita happened. So in this regard, WWE is brilliant. They were able to take a midcarder with moderate charisma, and turn him into someone whose crowd pop mirrored the WWE Champion's.
I will admit that I was fooled. I never thought we'd see Hardy in WWE again, and I was wrong.

"That was actually real. It was not a set up at all and you could tell it. For one those punches were real. Two those officers were the real deal. You could tell they weren't just security dressed up like police officers. What we saw last night my friend was no set up what so ever. Way to go Matt!"
Some assclown posted that at Hardy's board.

OK, my straight simple opinion about what happened with Hardy last night. This will be one of the only times I talk about this situation because to me it's played out and is boring me fast.
Matt Hardy is a hypocrite. A hypocrite is defined by Webster's as being someone who pretends to have beliefs they don't actually hold.
The NIGHT OF when Lita turned on Kane to side with Edge, Matt posted a very real emo message on his website saying (and I'm close to a direct quote here)- "I don't know about you guys, but I find it really tasteless to turn a real life tragedy into a wrestling angle".
Reread that post please. He found it REALLY TASTLESS to turn a real life tragedy into a WRESTLING ANGLE.
Last night, Hardy came back to participate in the exact same angle he thought was tasteless and playing off his real life tragedy (which he was right about).
Matt Hardy expressed beliefs he apparently does not actually hold. He defined hypocrite last night. And to think, I was looking forward to an Edge vs. Cena SummerSlam match.
W(ho)TF thought it was a shoot? Are you on crack?

Was the whole thing a work? Who knows. Is Matt a hypocrite? I don't think so.
Should he have gone to ROH or TNA? I don't think so. I can imagine that the smaller pay and the smaller audiences would have been a let down. Here's a guy that had been to a couple of Wrestlemanias. The Impact Zone would have felt like a VFW. The crowds were chanting for him at WWE shows. Go to where you know you are wanted, at least by the fans.
