Hi guys. I`m going to visit the USA soon and will find myself in New York City for Wrestlemania. Now back here in the UK, watching a wrestling event outside your own home is damn near impossible (they start after pubs close), but I was wondering if bars or things will be showing Wrestlemania on a big screen or something.
Anyway, my question is, does anyone know a good place in New York where a few mates and myself can watch Wrestlemania?

Travel back in time about 4 or 5 years and there is the perfect place (WWE/F New York/The World). Sadly, it doesn't exist now. So, frankly, I don't know.

If you find a Hooters Restaurant in New York (I'm sure there are several of them), they play every WWE PPV. I'm sure they'd have Wrestlemania.

Yeah that would`ve been good, but I`m sure Dr Who`s busy that weekend.
Hooters you say? We have a new front runner.

See if you can get it in your hotel room. There's BOUND to be a bar in the NYC area showing it.

I thought Hooters stopped showing WWE PPVs? They didn't stop showing them in my town. I think it depends on if that specific restaurant has a contract to show them, or something. Certain ones do, some don't.

Not one of those places is really close enough for a visitor for the UK to get too easily. Theres bound to be a place in the city thats got it showing but if all else fails it may be on in the hotel. Ask your hotel if they show PPV events and check Hooters' webpage to see if they have a NYC (Manhatten) location. I dont know if they do and I grew up in NYC.

yeah they did just sign that deal to start showing their PPV's in hotels starting with WrestleMania 22. So I would check with whatever hotel your staying at and see if they are one of the ones that are showing WrestleMania.

Not staying in a hotel. In a Hostel. If we`re lucky. We`ll be dodging cops, sleeping in central park ha ha. Real budget like.
Cheers for the help guys.

Heh you're a bit up the creek on this one, look into going over to Staten Island to that place thats showing it. Its a bit of a ride depending where your hostel is located but Id bet even the employees there could help you find it. Just a train ride or two probably and not that expensive either.

Yeah the guys that are going decided on Staten island. We don`t really know where any of the other places are but we all recognised the name Staten island. Seems like our best bet.
Funny that in all the years I`ve been watching wrestling and Wrestlemania, I`ll be 3000 miles closer to it but probably won`t get to see it!
