No matter how many times I seen it I never get tired of watching it. I make sure to watch it at least once during the Marathon. Anybody else watch it every year?

Yep, every year, and it's ironic you post this as we literally JUST got done watching it! I adore the movie and know every line by heart!

oddly enough, I legit hate this movie, and find it excruciatingly depressing, and yet I watch it every year. The reasons?
1. Scott Farkus looks exactly like what I imagine Brett Favre looked like in middle school, which leads to endless "Brett Favre has yellow eyes" jokes; 2. "You'll shoot your eye out, kid. Ho, ho, ho." (pushes face with boot). Is possibly the funniest Christmas related thing ever filmed.

I leave it on Christmas day, just playing in the background.

I watch it every year.
The thing I hate is that almost every person I know that ever mentions it doesn't know the name of it. I bet I've heard over a dozen times various people over the years say, "You know which Christmas movie I like? That one with the kid that wants a b.b. gun. I forget what it's called."

You know the sad part about "A Christmas Story"?
They made a sequal a decade later called "A Summer Story", that featured almost none of the original cast, and further refined Randy as the 1940s version of Randy Hickey.

Theatrically, it was titled "It Runs In The Family". It wasn't great, but it managed to make tops seem somewhat interesting. As for A Christmas Story, always loved it and still do.

My Dad loves this movie. We watch it every year and the TV stays on the marathon the entire day.

I watch it every year, as my wife loves it. I like it OK, but it seems like a four hour movie. The pacing of the whole thing is just horrible.

A Christmas movie centered around one child's desire to own a firearm?
Love it.
