Is this a parody? because its such a badly done report and the guy doesnt have a point to make (making up BS to make the store look bad and when he cant do that using the fact that you may purchase more thana few things to be the stores fault) that it comes across as a joke. I love killing time at dollar stores, great for getting loads of joke presents for friends like the paris hilton heiress diary I purchased which contains such insightful quotes as "when people ask me my polictical opinion I say: pink'

I LOVE going to Dollar Tree.
I mainly swing by it for $1 candy the same size, and kind, as the ones for sale at movie theatres, but for 1/3 or 1/4 the price.
Yes, I'm one of those evil bastards that sneak in my candy to the movies. Don't judge me! Their candy prices are pure bullshit!

Not really a frequent destination for me but something I look into sometimes. I go to Dollar General a lot but it's not a dollar only thing.

I seen a Yahoo report a couple of months ago on things that are good and bad to buy in a dollar store.
Good: Party decorations, greeting cards, picture frames, household cleaners/accessories (they say this is the biggest bargain), pots & pans (surprisingly good quality and name-brands).
Bad: Food (some may be expired, many don't adhere to FDA regulations), toys (small pieces, poor quality), batteries (foreign batteries not made for our electronics), drinking glasses (might be lead-lined), medicine (see food), "hygenic products".
Last time we went to a Dollar Tree, my wife bought some Betty Crocker measuring spoons, cups and a spoon rest. Good $4 trip there. I was actually looking for tinsel for my Christmas tree, but they only had the thin strips of them. I could take the dollar, shred it and come up with more decoration for a buck.

Me and a friend used to go out and see who could pull the best stunt. (one of his best was in a chinese restaurant he needed an in depth explanation of what beef on a stick was and then tried to order but asked if the could substute chicken. Stuff like that.) One time I drove a Dollar tree employee almost to tears while she was stocking the shelves by continuously asking her for price checks and never quite understanding the concept of the store.

My first job was at a dollar store, called "Just A Buck" I was only 16, yet I remember my 2 years there quite well. I could write a book with all the crazy shit I saw.
