Also known as Dollar Store, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc. Do you shop at these places ?

If I'm bored enough. I once saw a pregnancy test in one.

No. We've got like four of them here though.

no. I've only ever been to one that was truly a 99 cent store though. They even had a huge sign over the register that said "1 item plus tax = " all the way up to 10 or 12 items (it was a long time ago)

My mom loves these places for their random nick-knack-y crap. Plus they got good candy.
I also saw pregnancy tests there. And douches. As in the feminine hygiene product, not obnoxious people.

I go there sometimes, but generally find that it's not any cheaper than the grocery store or Fred's. The one time that I went to a true 99 cent store, I looked all over the store for something I might want to buy and didn't find a damn thing. Those stores suck.

Sometimes I go there to get toilet paper, blank DVd-r discs, dish soap or air freshener.

I'm really more curious about the 33¢ Store. I need my plankton.

I go to Dollar Tree all the time, they have pretty good books for $1, there usually books that have been out a couple of years, they had Chris Jericho's 2nd book there, plus it's the only place around here that carry Nacho Cheese Bugles.

Sometimes, to get a random toy for my sister's kids or some cheap stuff for my IPod. Mostly, though, I check it out to kill time waiting for friends to show up or things like that.

Nothing will EVER top the $1 steak I saw at the Dollar Tree.
I go in there every once in a while. The one where I live is all the way across town from me and there's no stores I frequently go to near it, so it's normally just not worth it. When I'm over there though, I like to go in to see what they have.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeyup.
It's great cause everything literally IS a dollar due to the lack of sales tax in New Hampshire.

I found Charles Barkley's 2nd book (Who's Afraid of a Large Black Man) there, but never a wrestling book.

Yes. Good for blank DVDs.
There's also one near to work, so I can sneak over and get some snacks to keep me going. They carry both 'name brand' snacks and imports from (mainly) Asian countries. Once in a while I'll try a small bag of something just to see what it's like. I've found SNAKU crisps are pretty good... they're veggie-flavoured curls that look like green Cheetos.
They also used to carry Uncle Ray's potato chips, but their last shipment was stolen (?) and they haven't had any since summer.
I have not yet worked up the courage to try any shrimp-flavoured chips...

I know of 2 Dollar Trees and they are both oddly enough right next to Price Choppers.
