I was able to rustle up some of the old TPBs to read it completely (I'd only checked out a few issues during its run), and this is some of the darkest shit I've read in years.
Lono is a sick bastard by anybody standards but for some reason I can't help but enjoy his fight scenes.

I actually bought the first TPB a while back and never got around to actually reading it, guess I should.
...and a ton of other stuff that I buy and don't read/watch now that I think on it.

it may just be the most underrated series Vertigo ever put out.

I consider myself a fan of that series, though I only own and have read the first three TPBs. I still want to read the rest. Just haven't gotten around to reading and/or buying them.

I'm in the same boat. I read the first 15 or 20 issues when it was first being published, and have always meant to go back and re-read/finish it. Every time I am about to, I find a new comic series that makes me put it on hold though.

all I'm going to say is that if you liked what you read, you owe it to yourself to finish the series. one of the smartest and coolest books available, and it keeps getting better as it goes.
