When the Hell did Aquaman get psychic powers, anyways? he's always had them. Superfriends was just written horribly so it became "talks to fish". in comics he's a lot more powerful than he was on Superfriends.

If it's The Brave and the Bold Aquaman, he wins.
NO ONE could stay mad with BATB Aquaman.

Aquaman summons mermaids to seduce Hulk, then summons orca whales and stingrays and sharks and poisonous blowfish (and then shoves a trident up his back side) to do him in.
He's not so lame anymore, is he? ;D

;in comics he's a lot more powerful than he was on Superfriends. Not to be mean, but sometimes I wonder if he really wasn't, and they try to make him so powerful to cover up how much of a failure that show was for him.

NO! In the World War Hulk story, Hulk resisted the combined mind-whammy of Emma Frost and Professor X. Aquaman ain't winning that way. Then there was another instance where Hulk developed gills, so even if the fight was underwater, Hulk could still breathe. And more recently, Hulk destroyed several planets by colliding with Red She-Hulk. Hulk wins this in a literal stomp. See, that is exactly what makes Hulk one of the most Mary Sue characters in comics. That shit right there. He's supposed to just be a giant green bruiser. I could maybe let the resisting mind attacks go if the writer, for example, made him into a mindless fighting machine. But developing gills and destroying several planets?! *blows whistle and throws penalty flag onto the ground* Excessive Mary Sue bullshit on Marvel, half the distance to the goal, repeat first down. I mean series, how can you justify that crap as anything but Mary Sue?

At least Thor proved he was stronger then Hulk in the Ultimateverse with the buisness end of Mjolnir.

I mean series, how can you justify that crap as anything but Mary Sue? Dude, the Hulk has ALWAYS been a walking plot device. Why do you think his power increases just by getting mad? I'm sure even the writers acknowledge this.

Incorrect. Currently Hulk and Banner are separated. Hulk found a life of peace, until the government came looking for him because Banner went ape s*** trying to recreate the Hulk in himself. So Hulk is the hero, Banner the villain. Wait, what? Yup, that is in Jason Aaron's book, and it has been pretty good so far. Banner has his own Island of Dr. Moreau. Betty has left Banner because he lost his damned mind and joined the Defenders with Iron Fist, Surfer, Namor, and Dr. Strange. Every time Hulk gets a new writer it reverts back to the status quo. So it isn't unexpected. He is a monster though and sometimes needs a reboot. As for Hulk's gills, as far as I recall, it only happened when he insisted on walking across the ocean floor so he could be left alone.

Namor was a better match up for Hulk IMO.

Brave and the Bold Aquaman is a billion times better than any of the "dark brooding" crap they've tried to shove down our throats. I really wish that was the way Aquaman was in the comics, he'd be great!
