i've pinpointed what's bothering me today, thought I was feverish earlier, but really if i push on my left side at my waist it hurts a little. Vague I know. I hope it's nothing, but..

It seems like the waist would be too low for anything but intestines, right? Maybe pancreas, too.
I'd get it checked out. It could be something minor, but if it isn't, it's better to catch it asap.

You may be backed up. Take a day off from work, a stool softener, some fiber and drink some coffee. If you have crap stuck in your intestines it can harden and just be a damn unpleasant experience. Keep track of your movements, consistency, and timing. Once you get through the initial explosion you should be regular. If by the end of the week you still have that pain it's doctor time.
