Honestly, I don't think I've ever heard a random Undertaker or Shawn Michaels reference on mainstream TV. The Warrior and Hacksaw mentions reminds me of the "How I Met Your Mother" episode where Lily and Marshall dress up as them in anticipation of going to WrestleMania. In 1999/2000 hahha.

I've heard "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase mentioned quite a few times in the mainstream.

I don't know if it counts, since they were hardly "mainstream," but my friends' hip-hop group mentioned both Abdullah the Butcher and Earthquake separately in different songs.
Also, I'd go out on a limb and say the Iron Sheik is another fairly well-known name.

A "Ric Flair" is becoming a fairly common baseball term there days. A hit that hit that falls just between the infield and outfield has been called a "flare" for a long time. I'm pretty sure it was coined by Joe Simpson of the Braves that added the "Ric" part, of course the Braves games used to follow WCW Saturday Night all the time.
I agree with those that say they've never heard Shawn Michaels mentioned in the mainstream, I'll even say my cousin and her husband named their son Shawn Michael, and I'm the only one that's ever asked if he was named after HBK. I don't think that many people outside of wrestling fans know who HBK is.

I saw a Jay Mohr comedy special once where he described a Scottish bartender as looking "like Mick Foley of the WWE...F".

In Wisconsin mainstream, I still hear references to The Crusher in vary random places by people that I would not think would pay any attention to wrestling.

Ric Flair must be sort of well-known; he's appearing as himself on an episode of The Cleveland Show. And speaking of the Crusher, there was a guy in a class in my college named Reggie Lisowski. This seemed too odd to be a coincidence. Never asked him though-didn't know him.

If you count Tosh.0, Arn Anderson gets some mainstream love.

Killer K gets my vote. I have seen numerous shows mention him.

Has the less obvious one been mentioned yet with Married With Children? The two main families were named after King Kong Bundy and Dusty Rhodes.

Al also worked with Luke Ventura in the first episodes. There's also another wrestling name on the show I am forgetting. Bundy appeared twice as different characters, as one of Peg's relatives and then as himself. Hogan has been mentioned on the show.

An oft-overlooked one: George "The Animal" Steele I was called an uglier George "The Animal" Steel, but a non-fan.

If you count Tosh.0, Arn Anderson gets some mainstream love. Tosh drops a lot of wrestling references. I know he has mentioned The Brain at least once.

I've heard "Macho Man" Randy Savage mentioned in alot of TV shows.
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan had alot of mainstream mentions back in the late 80's-early 90's (on shows like Mama's Family) but not so much now.

Steele was mentioned on Seinfeld about Jerry's girlfriend having man hands, "it's like dating George the Animal Steele" Kramer also went on a riff about Killer Kowalski once. In addition to Savage, "Ravishing" Rick Rude gets a mention by Jim Carrey in Liar, Liar. Liar, Liar actually had a wrestling scene filmed where Jim Carrey's character takes his son to a wrestling show that night. It was cut, obviously... I remember seeing pictures in the WWF Magazine about it at the time.
