For several years now I've read on the internet that Konnan never appeared on TV as Max Moon, that he only did dark matches. Reading about it people claim that the only footage of him was in a match vs. Duane Gill, but I looked up that match, and I'm 99.9% sure that that's Paul Diamond. I think people think that it's Konnan since he's called "The Comet Kid" and not Max Moon.
Saying that, I swear that I saw a match with Konnan playing Max Moon on one of the Coliseum Video tapes, like Supertape or something like that, but people tell me this doesn't exist. The reason I believe it to be true, is that I watched the tape circa 1996, so I knew who Konnan was from WCW, and I thought it was obvious that he was playing Max Moon. I remember thinking, "I didn't know Konnan ever worked in the WWF." That was the only Max Moon match I saw until a few years later. I didn't have internet then, so I didn't know that anyone else had ever played Max Moon, nor did I know there was any controversy about it.
So can anyone back me up on this, or is this one of those false memories, like the people that claim that they saw the deleted scenes of Luke hanging out with his friends on Tatooine in the original Star Wars when it was first released.

I don't know about the video, but I'm 99.9% certain that I saw Konnan in the costume for a WWF Magazine article.

I believe that when Konnan wore the Max Moon outfit in the WWF, he was announced as Relampago. It wasn't until Paul Diamond took over the character that they began to call it Max Moon.

Comet Kid... then announced as debuting next week, Maxamillion Moves.
And then Max Moon, I think.

Too Canadian. Loch Ness would have been the funnier answer, and it would have led to posting a picture of this guy:

A f***ing plesiosaur. video.adultswim.com/the-venture-bros/two-ton-21.html

I don't think he was featured on a Coliseum Video tape, those wouldn't feature jobber matches, and Konnan was only involved in jobber matches in 1992, whether as Relampago, Latin Fury, Comet Kid or Max Moon
I believe he only wrestled one match as "Max Moon", against Jerry Fox, on Sept. 21st 1992, and a few prior as Comet Kid or Maxamilion Moon (Moves?), but I don't know if those were dark matches or TV matches...from that point on Paul Diamond appeared as Max Moon, wrestling the likes of Brooklyn Brawler, Louie Spicolli, Barry Horowitz & Repo Man on TV

Coliseum tapes used to have "exclusive" matches that weren't shown on tv. So it could have been.
