OK, so I played EWR for years, so when I found out TEW 2005 was freeware now,I decided to pick it up, and found a roster mod for the current RL feds. There are so many more options especially with the way you put together storylines, I'm actually kinda intimidated by it. Anyone else feel like this when they first tried it?

Yeah, I did. Just use unchained storylines and treat them like old EWR feuds. Works for me. The rest...well, you'll get used to it. Stick with it though, it's worth playing

Yeah, I usually cheat and just do unchained storylines.

Storylines are only necessary for Sports-Entertainment feds, and maybe Family-Friendly. If you run something like a Traditional promotion, they can be used, but are not required. And if you do Hybrid or Pure, you won't even need to worry about angles-all you have to do is put the matches together. And as other people have mentioned, if you do use storylines, just go with Unchained.
I actually have a question of my own: are the promotion styles (Sports-Entertainment, Traditional, Pure, etc.) still applicable with real-life mods? If so, what is ROH classified as? If these categories applied in real life, I would tend to guess ROH would be considered Cutting Edge.

I'll be honest, I downloaded EWR the other day for the first time ever, and I'm kind of intimidated by that. I don't seem to know what I'm really doing yet, but I'll give it another crack. If I still can't figure it out, I'll probably just give up on it.
