I'm more than educated with Puroresu, however I was wondering if there are promotions in other parts of Asia such as China, Korea, etc. I've never seen any footage unless you count that World Peace show which I think was in South Korea?
Anyway, totally random thought that I'd love to know more about.

I've seen some short music video compilations of Chinese pro wrestling. It's.....a hell of a thing.

There was a South Korean promotion that popped up a few years ago, New Korea Pro Wrestling, which I remember had a show featuring a few Japanese and American talents, Osamu Nishmura and Kurt Angle were both in the main event. There's also apparently a couple of other promotions in South Korea, a World Wrestling Association and one called Professional Live Action.

Ah yes, it was him, Kurt Angle and the former Strong Machine #2, tag partner to the 1st who later became Super Strong Machine, a.k.a. Sonny Two Rivers a.k.a. Junji Hirata.
This guy sucked, though.

There was a fed called Middle East Wrestling, IIRC, in United Arab Emirates, some fed in Turkey (seen it once very breifly, looked backyard-ish), and there is Israeli Pro Wrestling Association.

Rikidozan was, and he hid it all his life. On topic, Blue Wolf and his brother started a fed in Mongolia, but I know nothing about it. I'm sure some rich Arabs have wrestling playthings in the middle east.

And then there were those shows in Tibet BTW, the "Peace Festival" shows were in North Korea (Inoki was involved, so don't ask, as he was still the loveable crazy gargantuous chin wrestling God back then. Not the crazy BURSHIT~! MMA-hard-on out-of-touch-with-reality Inoki of this past decade or so).

The Peace Festival attendance is less impressive once you realise that pretty much everybody in the place knew nothing about pro wrestling and were only there because, well, Kim Jong-Il forced them.
