...if Jeff and Karen Jarrett are members? Even if they get along okay in real life, their on-screen characters are supposed to hate each other.

Why would anyone join Immortal? It gets you a bunch of B-list at best flunkies and you're getting kicked out the first time you screw up.

He's cool with Hogan because of the whole Dixie thing, but hes not an Immortal member. In fact, the only time he's shared a ring with the Immortal guys, he told them that he's going to do things on his own, and made a point to stare Jarrett down and tell him not to get involved in his business.

Yeah I think TNA needs to make this more coherent. Angle has never said he was actually in Immortal, he is just sort of willing to accept Hogan's help in order to win the title and retain it. Note that he more or less gave Bully Ray and Co. the kiss off recently.
Frankly I think Angle should actually join Immortal and give the group a main eventer. Jarrett can be kicked out and turn face or something.

I've read somewhere they wanted to make Jarrett a part of Mexican America to give the group a main eventer for a front man. So why not get rid of Jarrett and basically switch stances with Angle? Make Jarrett & Karen allies of Immortal and give Kurt the front man spot of Immortal. That way, you've got a much more credible stable than the one you have at the moment.

So it's sort of like Bret Hart in the nWo, where it's unclear if he's a member or not?

Yeah I think Angle is just siding with Hogan, not Immortal. That is the way it comes off, at least.

So it's sort of like Bret Hart in the nWo, where it's unclear if he's a member or not? Not really. Kurt is just teamed with Hogan, but not part of his group. It's like when Love teamed with Mexican America for that 6-Woman tag. They're working together, but Love and Winter are not part of Mexican America, and neither are Rosita and Sarita part of the coven that Winter and Love are in.

Angle hasn't joined Immortal, he's only made one appearance with them and made it clear he hasn't joined.
