I did love Flair freaking out because Tiffany re-named the dog.
The nerve!

What pisses me off is that Flair was employed for another 6 years and Hennig was fired that week for simply cutting off Hayes' ponytail.

Apparently Kurt Angle later admitted to having sex with that crazy stalker. "Oh, it's true. It's DAMN true!" Sorry, couldn't help that one. Flair seems to be as bad with money as an addict is with drugs. Why anyone would lend this guy any money or do any business with him is beyond me. Sad. I'm pretty sure Hennig was let go due to the Lesnar fight. Interestingly enough, Brock really loved Hennig. He speaks highly of him in his book.

It's sad how a guy at 62 years old who's made millions upon millions in his lifetime has nothing left. I don't feel sorry for him at all, because he did it to himself. Now he's stuck working for a company whom he used to talk trash about for years.

How depressing is it that in all probability, every single member of this forum is in more sound financial shape than Ric Flair?

Why take everything so seriously? It's funny. Sad but funny. I take almost nothing seriously, but I draw the line at sexual assault. Flair wearing a robe and doing the helicopter with his penis = funny. The guys sexually assaulting and harassing the stewardesses = indefensible. It's Ric Flair. You do it and shut up. And i'm serious.

There will be no happy-ending to the story of Ric Flair. At this point, it's just not happening.

There will be no happy-ending to the story of Ric Flair. At this point, it's just not happening. Then again he CHOSE this. He doesn't want to quit maintaining a crazy standard of living. TNA giving him 22 thousand a month doesn't help.

I envy Ric Flair's life. A 60-year non-stop party, in between becoming the greatest pro wrestler of all-time. He truly is a wrestling god. The highs are nowhere near the lows. He makes deals with people with zero regard of how he's gonna find compensation, and seemingly not even worrying about it until threatened legally. He's got three ex-wives. He spends money on booze not only for himself but for others when any one of his peers would gladly buy for him. That's not admirable, that's beyond stupid. His life should be so great, but he's been living like an asshole for so long he's gonna have to work until he's dead. As a fan I love Ric Flair the wrestler to death, he has done and even in TNA does some incredibly entertaining stuff, but he's made so many stupid mistakes in his lifetime it's really hard to envy what he is now. I think there's nothing to envy or hate I feel in that the guy is like a the four elements or a monster or a natural disaster in that it's big, unreal, awesome and is hard to comprehend but it's just is. At first you pitty him for the mistakes but then you realise the guy wouldn't accept living any other way. He's killed in depth yet plays with money like it's monopoly. I've never seen someone oweing so much, losing so much yet still never quiting living like a king. I just know I couldn't live his life. I prefer having far less yet having a peace of mind. But hey like I said to be able to do it, you have to Flair.

It's sad that some of Paul Roma's comments on the Four Horsemen dvd appear spot on.
Not on his place in the business or anything, or Flair being jealous of him, those were ludicrous.. but the whole statement for Flair's life being " like a drug he doesn't wanna come down off of".
Hard to argue that.

This just makes his appearances on IMPACT even sadder, it's just a poor parody of himself in real life.

Flair's questionable business dealings provide a stark contrast to the legacy the late Randy Savage left to his wife Lynn by being frugal and not living beyond his means. We always thought Ric was The Man, yet all this time Flair was fronting!

Flair is way too old to change or get himself out of this mess. That worries me though. People kill themselves all of the time over financial burdens. Yes he got himself into this mess, but I grew up watching him, and still think he was one of the greatest of all time. It's really too bad, he had to live the gimmick.
