I'm thinking he's losing it to Bryan, given he really has no one left to face afterward . Brock, Lord Tensai, Christian

Since they're booking AJ as being pathetic, insane, and insecure; I'd assume she is also incompetent, since she's a woman in the WWE, and will try to screw over Punk but end up inadvertently costing Bryan again. I doubt they're going to make CM Punk lose the title because of a non-McMahon female's interference. As for Brock Lesnar, the only way he's winning the title is if it's close to Wrestlemania and at the very most at the Royal Rumble where he'd be in a title match. He doesn't work house shows, and the company isn't going to have a long-term champion who doesn't work house shows. So, the Bryan feud is going to be a couple of months, since there's no real other viable options for Punk for feud with that would come close to the crowd heat/participation.

It'll likely be another weaselly MITB cash in, where the challenger (most likely a heel, or soon to be) cashes in in the most anti-climatic way possible. We'll then be treated to the same goddamn storyline we've seen...8 times before? Just writing this out, pisses me off because I know that's likely the goddamn route they'll take. Until Aj was inserted into the current (non)feud, I would have agreed with you. I think Bryan wins with help from Aj and/or Big Johnny. She had a 50 second backstage segment with Punk, that hardly counts. Plus, Ace forgets that Punk exists half the time.

I can see it, but I'd say more likely is that Bryan loses it via cash in similar to what happened to Edge. I'm thinking he's losing it to Bryan, given he really has no one left to face afterward . Brock, Lord Tensai, Christian While you're at it Curt Hawkins, Trent Baretta, and Heath Slater. Christian maybe, Lesnar while he might get a shot I can't see being given the title because it'd severely limit them moving forward especially with house shows, and Tensai just plain isn't working and based on his shtick mostly being dropped on Superstars they seem to have dropped the idea of him being a main eventer. They could try it, but it'd be doomed to draw an awful buyrate.

This time last year, Punk was jobbing to Big Show and Kane whilst teaming with Mason Ryan, and 2 months later he was the hottest thing in the company. Give any guy some momentum (Ziggler, returning Wade, Truth/Kofi winning a Battle Royal together and Truth going crazy again, Christian, Big Show ugh but possible, Cody, Cena, Rey Mysterio, etc) and they can have a big feud with Punk. The booking is absolutely godawful right now, but it's stupid to believe there are no heels for Punk to feud with.

Honestly at this point, Punk could feud with the entire roster, and there's a huge amount of heels to choose from.
They could have him face Christian (who surely wants revenge), Mark Henry (they feuded, but not on PPV), Kane (although it will likely suck), Wade Barrett (who I can see taking the title off him), or Lord Tensai (who will likely end his undefeated streak when Punk pins him clean and he disappears).

I'm not going to spoil Smackdown, but they're building up another pointless feud for him. He's taking it to Summerslam. Since it's not the focal point he can hold it until it becomes the focal point. Brock will take it from him at Summerslam.

OTL to Bryan thanks to AJ. Maybe get it back around Summerslam only to lose it to the MITB winner...again. This minus the summerslam and MITB part

The fact that she even had a backstage segment at all with Punk makes me think she'll be involved in the match somehow. Or else, why have her interact with Punk to begin with?

Side Note- I realized Punk has had a long second run with the title by today's standards. But, I didn't realize his current run with the strap is in the Top 20 out of All 110 WWE Title Runs, in regards to the number of days as champion in a reign. (wiki).
Back to the OP, I'd like to see Punk breach the 200 day mark with this reign. That's a pretty big feat in terms of the WWE. I wouldn't mind if he ran with it all the way until next WrestleMania, but I bet they switch things up around the July or August PPVs.

OTL is the epitome of a filler match.
I'm guessing SummerSlam.

I think he loses it at Over The Limit. AJ screwing him over makes sense with No Way Out having all the wacky cage match stipulations and whatnot. Have him get his re-match in a match built upon the idea that she won't be able to get involved.

OTL is not an important enough PPV for such a title change. I think he'll drop it at Summerslam.

I don't think he's going to lose it until he drops another "pipe bomb". What I mean is, I fully expect his character to snap on TV and go off about being WWE Champion since November, yet not main-eventing a single PPV in 2012. It'll start a big angle around the title again, and then we'll probably see him screwed out of it.
