Recently I've been re-watching the Jeff Jarrett DVD and remembered the 2 entrance ramps they used to have. One for faces and one for heels.
I can understand why they got rid of one of them. But I always liked it. Just the idea that in this day and age, TNA still had faux kayfabe elements like keeping the heels and faces separate.
Anyone else like them?

I never watched TNA around this time but this always seemed like a pretty unique and interesting idea.
Just a question, what did they do with tweeners? Or someone who they were hinting at to turn?

Hints they'd usually stick to the same tunnel until it was official, tweeners I think it depended on who they were facing.

I do remember ODB would enter from the heel tunnel for the longest time, despite being cheered from the crowd and being booked as a babyface.

I liked the double entranceways, along with the six sided ring gave TNA an identity that separated it from the competition. Also it gave the people in the crowd, those who don't watch the match, just sit tight waiting to see who will run in, two possible ways to look. That sounds petty, but it does irritate when a large portion of the front row are all staring at the ramp to see who'll make the save/do the run in.

If they still had those, Ken Anderson would come to work confused every single taping.

I hated those. I never liked the idea that all the babyfaces hung out together and all the heels hung out together. And when someone turns hes just meant to switch locker room for the next event and come in like "Oh hi guys, Im over here now!"

It's funny you say that, because I want to remember David Hart Smith, right after the Hart Dynasty turned face for the first time, was getting ribbed because he had gotten onto the heels' tourbus by force of habit when he and Kidd were supposed to be grouped with the faces now.

That became part of the problem because it got to a point where at least half the roster were tweeners and the only way you could guess at what their alliance was suppose to be (if any) was to see which tunnel they came out of. It got very confusing but that was mostly TNA's fault for booking people in a confusing way.
