What makes it sadder is that it might've been suicide.

So long friend. Sad to hear.
As for the reason of death, it might have been suicide. It was going through a divorce, so is a connection?

He was in bad health and he told the court he wanted the divorce to be wrapped up, so I'm guessing maybe he was suffering through whatever his health problems were. I could be wrong

I could be wrong I think there might be more of a connection to him being in absolutely horrible pain from cancer. It's all speculation now though. RIP. Here's the episode of "Eek! The Cat" he appeared in:

This is really sad with it being the first day of Black History Month. I loved watching the old Soul Train episodes.
RIP.

RIP, you are missed. Don't know if it makes you feel any better, but you were the first person who sprung to my mind when I read the thread title. RIP Don.

Tragic. When I was a little boy my Dad would always have the old Soul Train episodes that showed on our local Fox affiliate Saturday mornings. Don Cornelius was outstanding as host. He will be missed.
R.I.P.
