Lately I've been hearing a lot of great things about this game and I decided I want to get it. Unfortunately it was never released in Europe and if I want it I'll have to import it which I have no problem doing so but the price is absolutely crazy ($75 not including delivery). So is it really worth the price?

It's a really good game and it has an interesting plot, a fun combat system, and very well-written characters. But I don't think I'd spend $75+ on it, personally. Granted, I'd have a hard time justifying spending that much on just about any game.

$75 is a lot of money to spend on a game, so I don't feel comfortable in recommending that you do so, especially since a lot of the cost is due to its rarity.
However, I will say it is a great game, with a neat take on time travel and a fun battle system, and if I had the money I would buy it. It was one of my favorite games of last year. Unfortunately, the best way to see if you'll like it is if you play it, and I don't think the DS has much in the way of demos.

The only way I'd spend $75 on a single game is if it is the super special sexy edition of the game with bonus stuff, or if I included the price of any DLC I bought for a game.

Along with MMO's with expansions or subscription fees, that's about how I feel. I mean I almost dropped $80 on the ME3 collector's edition because of official FemShep art. Though the stores were already sold out and I realized it was sort of a crazy reason to do that, so I just went with standard edition.

The most I spent on a video game was $85 for Suikoden II last year, complete with case, artwork, and instruction manual. Beyond that I think the collectors editions of the Lunar games and Arc the Lad collection were the greatest expense. I have a hard enough time dropping $60 for a new game anymore.
