You think hip-hop has some petty beefs?
I remember seeing commercials for this all over MTV and wishing the tour would come to my town so badly. Then this report aired and I figured maybe it was for the best that it didn't.

Manson won since he is slighly less irrelevant these days. Courtney/Hole isnt even on the radar.

I like Manson's music more, but Courtney Love did have a good point about splitting costs and Manson's elaborate stage props.

Coincidentally, I just found a VHS I had with this very special.
I was a big fan of both at the time (as well as opener Monster Magnet) and was sad I couldn't have seen it. What a weird, interesting transitional time for rock music. We went from matchbox 20 having the only rock album in the top 10 selling albums of the year, to the glamed Manson vs. glamed Hole feud to the rise of nu-metal.

None of the above, double count-out.

I think Hole has some good songs and really IMO Marylin Manson was faux risque and did everything in their power to grab attention without actually putting together music that the masses would enjoy. I'd be fine with either of them losing

Manson isn't the c*** that ruined Nirvana by keeping their music in legal limbo after Cobain died, so he gets my support by default.

I like Manson more as a personality; Hole had incredible albums that blew away anything, imo, Marilyn Manson did. Prefer Nails to both.

Didn't like Manson. Hole sucked, and was only around because they had a Cobain in the band.

In terms of the art of the music video, they both made some genuinely great contributions.
