A buddy of mine is of Portuguese descent and swears by red wine with Coke. I tried it and it wasn't half-bad.
Are there any drink combos that you really like that most people would find weird or not even try at all?

If homemade cold/sore-throat remedies count then I like hot water with a few spoonfuls of blackcurrent jam added. I'm not sure it works but I do like the taste.

I used to love red wine with coke, haven't had it in years.
An amazing cold remedy: 1 cheap american style beer 1. lemon juice 1. buttload of salt
mix it all together and drink it as fast as you can(as if you would want to sip it). It puts other cold medicine to shame

Used to mix apple juice with ginger ale.
On the slightly-less-innocent front, Vodka with Chinese Mustard (only as a shot). Are we allowed to talk about things like that here?

San Francisco style Egg Cream's, which is basically a New York style Egg Cream with some hazelnut syrup added. You have no idea how odd that sounds to fellow New Yorkers.

My best friend and I made a drink we called a "Merman" after a female gym teacher at our school. It's ingredients:
1/2 can of Tab 1/2 can of Fresca A couple of squirts of lime juice
It is way better than it has any right to be.

I've melted assorted flavored candy canes in ginger ale. Works great with green apple!
Also, when I go to McDonald's, I mix Dr. Pepper with orange Hi-C.

Lately I've been loving a good Old Fashioned. I didn't think that was odd, but it apparently is, because nobody knows how to f***ing make one. I was at one bar and it took 20 minutes for the waitress to come back with it - I'm convinced they had to google it.
It is one of the most basic cocktails, and probably the oldest!

Maybe she watches South Park and was trying to decide whether to slap you or not?

My favorite is mixing juice or Kool Aid with Sprite or Sierra Mist...Always seems to give what you're drinking a added kick.

Dr. Pepper and Root Beer is godly.
Jägermeister and Monster Energy Drink. Preferably the grape flavored one that's not carbonated. Also, jäger and Coke tastes like Dr. Pepper if you do it right.
