With the release of NFL Blitz by EA I figured why not make a topic about a simpler time where you could actually late hit players, set people on fire or explode them.
Basically damnit EA where is my Mutant League series

Baseball and arcade really dont go hand in hand but SNK's Baseball Stars series for the Neo Geo pulled it off.

My favorite basketball game growing up was NBA Give and Go which was a port of an arcade cabinet...It was awesome and looked wonderful for its time

NFL Blitz and Blitz 2000 to this day remain two of my favorite sports games of all time. Just soooo much fun. My cousins and I would spend hours just playing this game back in the late 90s. If anybody was curious, my team was the 49ers. That Young, Rice, Hearst, Stokes/Owens combo was amazing.
Anyways, how can we forget:
I played both years (2002 and 2003) religiously.

I love Super Baseball 2020. I played that more than any Genesis baseball game. The arcade thing gets a little tricky for me when it comes to games like Tecmo Super Bowl and NHL 96. At the time, they were as accurate any game, but now, they are pure arcade-style fun. TSB is my second favorite game of all time.
