War movies kill me, so there is one scene in particular that kills me: In "Saving Private Ryan", when the battalion is preparing to sleep in the abandoned church and Giovanni Ribisi's character explains how he was raised by a single mom who worked nights. She would come home early sometimes just to be able to see him and he'd pretend to be asleep so he wouldn't have to talk to her and he wishes that he could take that all back. That was heartbreaking. "Tell me I've led a good life. Tell me I am a good man." Even thinking about it makes me tear up.

Basically all of the climax of "The Iron Giant" gets me. DAMN YOU VIN DIESEL! Rightfully sad here, but it'd be funny if everything Vin Diesel did made you sad. "He... he was in his face, all along...." *sniff sniff*

I've never really cried or teared up at a movie... but one of the more heart-wrenching scenes was in The Wedding Singer when Adam Sandler's character is passing under Drew Barrymore's character's window and sees her happily trying on her wedding dress and walks away sadly. Unbeknownst to him, she was in tears right beforehand, and the only thing that brought about her happiness was pretending to be his wife.

There's this scene in a movie called Hardball with Keanu Reeves. One second Keanu calls the smallest member of the team Gee Baby to bat, the next, he and his big brother are walking home in the projects after the game and a shootout starts.
Everything after that.

I know it was mentioned but it just has to be posted.

The Muppets minor spoiler. {Spoiler}Rainbow Connection I second this, times a million. One of the greatest songs ever written, IMHO...every time I hear it, it gets to me. Probably because Jim Henson is my one biggest influence, and a hero of mine.

Potential spoilers below...this is the ending of the movie The Plague Dogs....
Absolutely heartbreaking film...as soon as that ending song starts, so do the tears. This is a case where the book actually has a more positive ending than the film.
