Dude, Life After People was AWESOME!! After the first special maybe. I dn't know how but that series somehow made mass destruction become boring and predictable. If I ever see another building fall down... Life After People is a WEIRD one for me. On the one hand, it is fascinating to see what happens to the world when we're gone. On the other, how overwhelmingly depressing is it? I refuse to watch the original 2 hour version just for one part: what happens to the pets left behind by humans. I go through enough trauma knowing my little ones will eventually leave me, I don't have to know how they will suffer if I just vanish.
