Nice to see they are branching out and producing non-Hitler programming.

Nice to see they are branching out and producing non-Hitler programming. Non-Hitler programming that doesn't have aliens or people pawning things.

Nice to see they are branching out and producing non-Hitler programming. Dude...I'll take Hitler over the "History Made Everyday" BS that's going on. How many times are they going to look at the same minor evidence of Big Foot or aliens in a show before they conclude nothing they didn't already know in the first place?

This most likely explains the story of how it all started for humanity.

Non-Hitler programming that doesn't have aliens or people pawning things. Even the alien stuff gets somehow tied to the Nazis. That's because Hitler was secretly an alien. I may or may not have learned that by watching History Channel programming.

I can only hope that this mini-series is wildly successful beyond History Channel's expectations, so that they won't completely abandon that aspect of their network. But starting next near at this time, they'll have to start coming up with some new topic of programming("Mayan Code" programs will be even more of a joke than they are now), so I can only hope it involves more historical program(it doesn't only have to be Hitler/WW2 stuff, even though that's an incredibly fascinating time period).

Yeah, the only things I watch on History now are the Larry the Cable Guy show and American Restoration. It's just gotten pathetic. Luckily, H2 (formerly History International) has taken all the good History programming.

I've wanted to see them do a serious special about the Mongol empire and how it shaped the world as we know it today. Right up until WWI, one of Genghis Khan's descendants was still controlling a tiny kingdom in central Asia, and most people have no idea.

I didn't even mind that since it got Life After People back on. Dude, Life After People was AWESOME!! After the first special maybe. I dn't know how but that series somehow made mass destruction become boring and predictable. If I ever see another building fall down...
