I'm not sure who was or wasnt a fan of this show but I was suprised when I saw that the first season was out in stores a few years ago and I of course picked it up as I used to watch it on TGIF. Then nothing for months and months and months... Its not like its a show currently airing and i'd have to wait for a season to be completed before the dvds came out. Pretty much after waiting I pretty much gave up on them ever releasing another set. There never was any info I could find regarding any future sets so I assumed the sales weren't so great and they decided against making anymore. So long story short after work I went to get my Epic Journey blu ray and.........there it was.
SCORE!!!!!!!!!

It's always good to see older shows get released on video nowadays, especially if it's not manufacture-on-demand. Either way I'm really hoping to see some more Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman (5 years) or Ghostwriter (2 years) down the line some day.

I think streaming services are the way to go from now on for old shows like that. I don't think the DVD business (or owning a physical copy of a show) is the way of the future for older shows, unless those shows are massively popular titles.

Season 1 + 2 were good, season 3 was "whatever" the following seasons were the worst TV ever produced. It was a steaming hot sack of loose fecal matter

Season 2 was by far the best season of Family Matters. It was probably the peak of Urkel's popularity and they didn't start doing all the sci-fi nonsense until years later. I was actually surprised they didn't group season 1 and 2 together for the first release, since Urkel wasn't a huge part of season 1, but I am glad they came out with season 2. I will definitely be getting it.

The cover says it all about the show's focus by Season 2.
