That show along with Xena: Warrior Princess practically defined my TV viewing during the late 90's, both of these shows kicked so much ass. I particularly loved that one where all the characters were in the modern age playing themselves in the show, it was so meta.
Any episode in which Autolycus showed up was also a treat.
I also love the Hercules movies that proceeded the show, Hercules in the Underworld was practically weekly viewing back in the day.
Any other fans of these syndicated wonders?

I watched both shows every week. Hercules had more comedy in it and Xena was more serious of the two. I think it had to do with Hercules not wanting to kill anyone and Xena just killed any bad guy. I was a big Greek and Norse Mythology reader so I gravitated to Hercules quickly and I liked the mythology they built for themselves. I especially liked when they introduced Dahak and Hercules visited Gilgamesh to help him only to be betrayed and killed Iolaus.

I find Xena unbearable due to her war cry, and found Hercules to be just silly.

Big fan of both series. Hercules really picked up when Hercules started to wander around, dealing with the Celtic and Norse gods.

I used to watch the hell out of Hercules, and ive bought every season that comes out since they started to reissue them. Its a great show but maaaaaaaaan some of the computer generated graphics did not age very well!

Its a great show but maaaaaaaaan some of the computer generated graphics did not age very well! I agree. The show was a staple of my TV viewing when I was younger. Now, it really does not hold up well by modern VFX standards.

Encore Action plays the movies occassionally. I recorded them at their various times and had a Hercules marathon. The channel also has tv shows so I hope that one day they put it and Xena on.
