Not a bad place. It's your run of the mill dining establishments. I also got a applebees gift card this christmas. Mostly because that where my friends like to gather.

Not a place I would choose to go myself but enjoy it just fine when friends choose to go there(TG not an often thing), Food is mediocre, ambiance sucks but thats your average chain rest bar.

If I'm going there with people, it's not a bad place to go. There's been times I've gone there by myself (usually on my way to the movies), and I find it's kind of boring there.

You could do worse, but you could also do a lot better.
I also prefer Chili's as far as American family restaurant-style chains go. They have really good burgers and surprisingly good ribs.

Not at all. It's decent for moderate dining out. Now the true subject of ire should be TGIFridays, have never gone there and escaped without indigestion. This There's this big box shopping center that has TGI Fridays, Chili's, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Taco Bell, etc and for some reason we went to all of them except for TGI Fridays. One day my mother and I decided to go there for once. One of the specials was clam chowder. Hey, clam chowder is my favorite food so we decided to order a bowl each. It kind of tasted odd when we were eating it but whatever. Then that night and into the next day the "mud floodgates" opened. Suffice to say I've never been back there. As for Applebees one opened up around here i'd say 8 years ago and closed around 2 years ago. We went there a few times when it first opened and I always got the chicken fingers and fries and you cant really go wrong there so I enjoyed it. My parents on the other hand thought it was horrendous and I never understood why but we never went back. It's a Bank of America now.

Moderately priced drinks, as well as 2 for 1 specials almost nightly? Win.
The food's not great, not bad. Like most, I usually go with boneless chicken of some sort and fries, and I've never been disappointed.

It's not terrible, but it's not high on my list.
When the better half and I are feeling lazy and self destructive, we'll head over for their "late night" half priced appetizers. Beyond that, we haven't sat down for an actual meal there in a good long while.
