I've been looking for a good tablet that is moderately priced for a while now. The main reason I need one is for comics. The only place to get comics around here is a store that doesn't even specialize in them, so they're selection is not that great and half the time they don't even get in issues when they're released. I have to drive an hour away to get to the nearest real comic book store. So, as much as I love having the actual paper issue in my hands, I'm really considering switching over to digital. So I was wondering if anybody around here had any suggestions for a tablets. I've been looking at the Kindle Fire a lot and so far it is probably the one I'm going to end up ordering. It is surprisingly cheap, but from all the reviews I've seen of it, it delivers where it counts. Are there any other models I should take a look at before committing to the Kindle Fire?

My sister got a Kindle Fire for Christmas. She likes it and I've used it a little and it's pretty cool. I'm no expert on tablets though.

As someone who has a Kindle Fire and looked at other options, I can tell you that nothing beats Kindle Fire for the price. You'd be getting a really impressive tablet.
