Here's the deal, I love to lift and switch up my routine frequently but I want to try something different as far as exercise goes. I've heard some good things about Yoga, but I've never done it. Has anyone here given it a shot? What were your results like? What are some good(preferably free online, but I'm not above paying for a quality program) programs that I could use to get started? Can I lift and do Yoga?

Yoga can be an absolute bear, especially if you lift. I thought it was just going to be stretching, but back when I had a trainer, she actually had this hybrid yoga/weightlifting routine that was the hardest workout I've ever done. Yoga can fit into it, it's great for balance, flexibility and breathing work, it's just really, really hard if you're not working on balance and flexibility normally.

You just want to get into it to wear the yoga pants, don't you? It's perfectly fine, you can be honest with us.

Yoga will not give you the ability to breathe fire, stretch your limbsto twice there length or teleport despite what a certain fighting game character might suggest.

I did my first ever bits of yoga on Wii Fit; very beginner level for the most part, obviously, but then I wound up doing it in the P90X routines.
Suffice it to say...it was beastly at first, no getting around it.
Well, I'll qualify that; the MOVING asanas were tough, the still ones weren't easy but were much more bearable. You'll never believe you could sweat that much with seemingly so little movement, but it heats your muscles amazingly. It's why "hot yoga" is a new fad that's taking off around here (doing yoga in rooms set to around 100 degrees or what have you).
Big plus side: if you've been working out lots and then do a yoga routine, even if you don't do it 100% well, the pain relief you feel the next morning is very clear. Keep at it for a few weeks, and you'll start feeling where you get a bit more flexible, and if you're truly concentrating you'll notice that it helps you to breathe better. Just be prepared to not be able to do everything, or having to adjust to make some stretches a bit easier on yourself; no shame in it, and it doesn't mean you're getting less out of the exercise.

We do yoga warm ups in Acting class, it really does improve flexability, balance, and concentration. Also hot girls bending over in tight pants.

Okay, I tried out a few 5 minute or so Yoga workouts on Youtube last night. They felt pretty good. I'm going to try some more tonight after lifting. I'd like something more intense though.
Also, I had NO idea that DDP had a Yoga workout.

Yoga is awesome, if you can get through it. I did P90X, and I while I by no means beasted it, I could get through the lifting and cardio work outs. The yoga KILLED ME. I never got through the whole thing without having to stop because I was in so much pain
