If anyone has any basic baking instructions, It would be greatly appreciated. My mom turned off her phone after I kept asking for help. The less instructions the better.

Thaw them in the fridge. In a bowl, combine 1 Tbsp oil (preferably sesame or olive), 1 Tbsp water, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar, and ginger to taste. Preheat the oven to 350. Place thawed fillets on a GREASED baking sheet (otherwise, given tilapia is a very lean fish, it will stick horribly), and bake 5 minutes for every half inch of thickness, basting with your solution halfway, and right before they come out. Turn if desired, and when the flesh flakes easily at the thickest part and is opaque, they're done.
I like this with a light herb rice, personally.

You could pan fry them too, that's pretty easy.
1. Defrost 2. If you have time, marinate them in some soy, lemon, pepper or any marinade of your choice. You can do this for about an hour or two before they get mushy 3a. If you pan fry them, heat pan on medium high heat with some oil, coat fish in seasoned flour, pan fry for about 2-3 minutes a side. Won't take long because tilapia is relatively thin 3b. If you bake them in the oven, heat oven to 400 degrees. Take the fish, rub it with some olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and wrap it in aluminum foil; lemon edges, garlic, parsley or anything else you'd like an also be used for flavoring. You can make this one large packet or smaller, individual ones. You can store these packets in the fridge for up to six hours before cooking. Bake the fish in a baking pan for approximately 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from foil carefully, put on plate, pour juices and whatever you included in the foil on top of the fish.

Place your tilapia directly on a moderately warm space heater for that "oh god, is this even safe?" fresh taste.

I have a tick about me I will not take advice from anything on the internet unless it comes fresh from someone. I have to know it came from a living human being.

I usually steam mine. Take out however many you need and rinse the ice off. Then, get a deep pan and arrange the fish around the pan without having them significantly on top of each other. Season with desired... well, seasoning (I prefer seasoning salt and fresh onion and garlic, although onion and garlic powder works fine). Add water; don't submerge the fish, but make sure there's enough so that the water doesn't boil out, then cook on medium heat.
Let it steam for a few minutes, probably won't even take a half hour. Then enjoy!

One of my least favorite fish that Ive had. This. If tilapia is the only fish on the menu, I'll order something else.

Looks good man. Yeah, fish can really be seasoned with most anything and still taste good. My grandpa says the best fish he had was some guy took EVERY spice in the pantry and seasoned the fish with it and wrapped it in foil and cooked ot.

One of my least favorite fish that Ive had. Probably because they're farm raised in huge numbers. A cookbook I have said that it's ridiculously easy to raise them, basically dig a large hole, fill with water, throw in some fish and, bam, you'll have a lot of Tilapia in no time.

Different fish, but I'm planning to make some catfish creole in the next day or two.
