Maybe they should put THAT on a t-shirt instead of monkeys. "THAT PARKOUR GUY" Back: "I run on walls & stuff..." He should hook up with Kingston and Bourne. They can call themselves Air Ba-Boom. Morrison could start off their matches by saying "We are Air Ba-Boom, and we're here to wrestle and do flips and stuff." 1-2-3-4!

Look at what his age is, and look at the physically demanding style that he wrestles, and look at the total lack of plans they have for him and the fact that he keeps escalating his ring style whenever he gets an outlet to do so. He's going to be run physically ragged in that company if he keeps up the way he is, and for what? To be nobody for the rest of his career? I don't want to be a fan of a guy who can't walk at 40 because his knees are blown out from the rigors of physical activity. He has nerve/neck issues too, and the manifestation of those which he received surgery on healed much slower than not just what was hoped for, but what was expected. That's a really bad sign, and it's better he doesn't risk a more serious injury like that. He can do things besides wrestling. And for the sake of his own well-being, he really ought to. My question is why are we writing off Morrison so early? He's only just turned 32. According to the logic you presented, Christian should have retired years ago. He was in a similar position earlier in his career. He just won his first two WWE World Titles at 38. He wouldn't have won them if he just gave up. For a nobody, Morrison's won a fair amount of titles and is in a lot of highlight reels. Nobodies are guys, like DJ Gabriel, who made no impact in WWE and have just become forgotten. (Sorry to the Gabriel fans.) Morrison isn't that. For better or worse, he's someone we really like to talk about. Nobodies get ignored and don't become the center of attention. If you don't want to support a guy because he MIGHT have injuries in 8 years, then I would venture to say you really aren't a fan of him. Do I want him to end up like Rey Mysterio with his knee problems or even Edge who had to retire early? No, I don't, but that not my decision to make. That's ultimately Morrison's decision. I would cheer for him if he decided to move toward more of a technical game and stopped doing high-risk spots. My favorite Morrison move is actually The Moonlight Drive. I mark every time he goes for it. Actually, he was only out about 4 months. That's pretty quick for the neck surgery and injuries he had. Did he come back to early? I don't know. Morrison's good at selling, so there's no way to know how much he's hurting. The way he talks and acts makes me think it's a lot of selling. The only person who knows for sure is him. When he had recieved the surgery, he was supposed to be back after only about 4 to 8 weeks, and it took a whole lot longer than that. This is not even like a muscular or skeletal issue. That's nerve damage, and severe nerve damage is a whole hell of a lot worse than anything muscular or skeletal. Which sounds pretty accurate for how WWE has treated him. He's gotten over on his own many times, and they always just bust him down like he only just got hired. And gets totally marginalized nad jobbed out. I'm sorry, and maybe it's an ethical overstep on my part, but I'm not going to cheer a guy on as he destroys his body. Period. Look at Edge, or look at Rey, and how their bodies are pretty much held together with glue and masking tape at this point. I've said for a long time now that Rey needs to get out of the business too, just because of the condition that he's in. John Morrison is still in good health right now but the nerve injury is a sign that he needs to be careful with how he handles himself in the ring.

I can see that you're a Morrison fan, but you're grossly overestimating how much of an impact he'll have on the buyrates. How did you figure me out? But really, have you seen the commercial for TLC? I did and about 50% of it is highlights from JoMo's match with Sheamus at last year's event. Come Royal Rumble time, they are going mention the "ninja spot" more than anything. Then, for EC, you know we're going to see the "spiderman spot" a bunch of times too. People love that stuff and tune into to see it. I'm not saying he's the only reason why people will buy those ppv's, but he is someone they'll want to watch, if only to see what crazy thing he'll do this year. Actually, I'd expect more Shelton spots or the Kofi stilt walking stunt.

Pair him with Vickie. He's good in the ring but terrible on the mic. Give him a voice piece, someone who can draw heat for him, and .. well, it could work.
It certainly couldn't do him any harm at this stage.

John Morrison is still in good health right now but the nerve injury is a sign that he needs to be careful with how he handles himself in the ring. It was a serious injury and nerve damage is serious. I never said it wasn't. Morrison's fighting against a lot of factors, some in and out of his control. That fact he's gotten this far and continues to keep going says a lot for his heart and determination. (I admit that was sappy. Moving on...) I never said that it was an ethical overstep by you or anyone else. I just gave my opinion and asked the question. This is wrestling! It's a contact sport. They get hurt. Like Taz says - This ain't ballet! Morrison's move set is more high risk, true. But all wrestlers run the risk of career-ending injury - that's part of the game. Edge was never a real highflyer and he still got a career-ending neck injury. Look at Bret Hart - he was a pure technical wrestler and got put out by post-concussion syndrome thanks to Goldberg, a power wrestler. Shawn Michaels almost lost his career due to hitting the edge of a casket while taking a bump. His offensive style didn't create that injury. I could go on and on... Would I like to see Morrison extend his career as long as possible? Absolutely. I won't stop cheering because he isn't going to change his move set or might get hurt doing high risk moves.

It certainly couldn't do him any harm at this stage. I wouldn't mind seeing that. Morrison and Dolph or Swagger would be a great tag team. In fact, I would rather see Morrison and Swagger go for the tag titles, leaving Dolph to worry about the US Title only.

How about just letting him refer to himself as the monday night delight again? Or the shaman of sexy?
Remember when they ran a video package on him at the start of the year and it was filled with quotes he said and none of them have been anything said in at least half a year by that time? YEAH.
Maybe this is all cause his dvd sold bad~ He shouldn't have been humble and stuck more matches where he actually won on it maybe.
