The concensus seems to be that wrestlemania 27 could have been better so what would you have booked to make it better.
If Nexus continued dominating all the way to wrestlemania Cena vs. Barrett for the WWE title with The Rock as the guest referee would have been good I think. The dynamic of Rock hating Cena but also hating that Nexus are controlling the WWE would have been awesome!
LIkewise Edge and Christian vs. Slater and Gabriel would have been awesome if it had been booked as a big deal that they're reuniting to take the tag titles away from nexus.
Another good idea I think would have been to have Cena face The Undertaker and Sheamus face Triple H.
anyone have any other ideas?

I would have had Cena-Rock as the Main event this year.. And maybe put Cena-Taker for the ME or Cena-Punk or put Austin-Punk together for sure next year or Orton vs. Edge

Taker/Barrett (based on Nexus destroying Taker a few months before) HHH/Sheamus (grudge match) Miz/Cena (WWE title; referee: The Rock) Edge/Alberto (WHW title) Ziggler/Morrison Bryan/Punk Gabriel+Slater/Show+Kane (tag titles) Orton/Christian
something like this

The booking was fine. It was the matches that were the problem.

The card as I'd book it:
U.S. Champion Sheamus vs. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston Opener to get the crowd fired. Making it a unification match would be nice, but not necessary, since WWE still seems set on keeping around lots of extraneous titles. Regardless, Sheamus wins.
Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes It was a good match, no reason to change anything.
Tag Team Championship Match: Big Show and Kane (c) vs. Wade Barrett and Ezekial Jackson Three guys who really ought to be on the card, plus Zeke to round things out. Faces win, match is short; not necessarily as short as the 8-man we got, but none of these guys are great in the ring, so might as well wrap it up fast. Bump it to the dark match if time is running short.
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk See Rey vs. Cody above.
World Heavyweight Championship: Edge (c) vs. Christian I'm not as high on Christian as a lot of people around here, but if this match was going to be Edge's swan song (and even if no one knew this would be his very last match, it'd been all-too-obvious for the last year or so that Edge's body was breaking down), Christian's the best choice for his final opponent. Edge retains.
Jerry Lawler and Daniel Bryan vs. Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler: If Lawler's team wins, all restrictions on physical altercations between him and Michael Cole are lifted. King does finally deserve a Wrestlemania match after all these years, after all, but no one wants to see Michael Cole wrestle. Bryan has his own bone to pick with Cole, and Ziggler hasn't got anything better to do, so he might as well get recruited by Cole alongside Swagger as more backup. That Bryan and Ziggles had a great rivalry of their own in the fall is just icing on the cake.
Faces win, and Lawler smacks Cole around a bit before he runs to the back. Then the feud ENDS instead of dragging on interminably for the next two months.
Triple H vs. Alberto del Rio If del Rio can't get a world title match, his whole destiny schtick might as well lead him to trying to one-up one of the major legends of the business. Besides, Triple H's better off with a fresh opponent for Wrestlemania; he doesn't really need revenge against Sheamus when he already looked so dominant against him, and Undertaker shouldn't be handing out streak rematches to just anyone.
Triple H wins, because damnit, he's Triple H.
Snooki, Trish Stratus, and Santino Marella vs. LayCool and Zack Ryder If WWE really thinks a Jersey Shore tie-in will help them, fine. But at least stick with comedy wrestlers who can actually play off the material to keep things entertaining. Especially when one of them already has a guido gimmick.
WWE Championship: The Miz (c) vs. John Morrison, w/ special guest referee Stone Cold Steve Austin The In-Crowd explodes, and WWE gets to hype the hell out of their new Tough Enough, debuting the night after 'Mania, by having the two most successful alumni from the original run of Tough Enough vying over the top championship in pro wrestling.
Miz retains by nefarious means, but eats a stunner and starship pain to close the segment.
John Cena vs. The Undertaker It's the biggest dream match left between wrestlers still on WWE's active roster. The Rock insists that Cena isn't even in his league, and Cena's going to prove him wrong by achieving the impossible. Undertaker has taken on all comers, and wants to prove his dominance once and for all by defeating the greatest wrestler of the modern generation. This is where they collide.
Undertaker barely wins, after both men have hit each other with multiple finishers. 'Taker gets stretchered out, Cena gets Rock Bottomed and People's Elbowed to close the show.

- Rhodes vs Mysterio (to get the crowd hot)
- Show, Kane, Santino and Kofi vs The Corre (match is still short but gets a little more time than it really got)
- Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan (it made the actual show and got the same time about 4 minutes.)
- Undertaker vs Triple H (same match we got)
- Snooki, Trish Stratus, and Morrison vs Ziggler and Laycool (pretty much the same but with an extra minute or two soMorrison and Ziggler could show off a little)
- WHC- Edge vs Del Rio (same match)
- Cole vs Lawler (much shorter then what we got. Basically Lawler beats down Cole for 5 minutes, Swagger tries to stop him but gets stunned by Austin. Then Eve comes out and kicks Cole in the balls or something. Done)
- The Rock comes out and basically cuts a shorter version of the promo he actually gave at the opening. He then says he will stay on guest commentary for Miz vs Cena.
- Miz Vs Cena (pretty much the same with the Rock interference and stuff.)
