Remember kids, "Z" means attitude!
Anyway... when exactly did they make their WWE(F) debut? I always remember them being around but never remember the first time they appeared.
Was there a big surprise run-in? Was it announced?
Did they just turn up one day in the ring and Bubba started stuttering?
Extra points to the person who gives a not so subtle nod in the direction of a youtube video.

I think I found a vid. Search "WWF SmackDown 9/2/1999 (part 7/8)" on YT, it's at about the 3:40 mark.

Without looking at the video I believe it was during a SmackDown match involving all of the other teams.

It was known The Dudleyz were coming to the WWF because they'd announced it on ECW TV. There debut was a surprise though.

I thought they debuted by jumping the APA out of nowhere on Smackdown.

I thought they debuted by jumping the APA out of nowhere on Smackdown. Nope. So did I. Just watched it. They debuted with a couple of 2 x 4's wearing Dudley Blue. The crowd was DEAD for the debut. I was expecting madness.

I was expecting madness. They really weren't over in the WWF until they began feuding with the Hardyz/putting people through tables.

I could have sworn they debuted by jumping the APA as well.

However, it was hilarious how during Triple H's entrance, Cole tried to get the gimmick over by going "What's wrong with that Bubba Ray?" only for Lawler to write it off immediately with a shrugging "Speech impediment." and Cole moves on RIGHT AWAY with "AND HERE WE GO, TAG TEAM TITLES ON THE LINE!!!

I only remember them threatening to take the ECW Tag belts with them during their final ECW show on TNN.

The first time I remember seeing them was when they stole Kane's voice box.

I'll never forget when Bubba was trying to spit out the word "Dudley" to the Rock..
Bubba: "The D-d-d-d-d..."
(Rock cuts in)
Rock: "I-i-i-i-i-i-it doesn't matter what you think!"
lol

I think the first WWE incarnation of the Dudleyz was my favourite. I prefer them more as a goofy heel team than a serious one.

My fav moment during Bubba's stuttering gimmick was against Kane, he was doing the whole staggering around as Kane gets ready for his flying clothesline routine and the announcers yell "t-t-t-t-TURN AROUND!"
