You can't base it on one comment. I'm pretty sure DiG has never been a Ryder fan anyway.

What you don't see there is DiG's reasoning as to why he feels that way. He gave his explanation, and we moved on with life.
Seriously, I don't see why we need to keep singling out people who go against the flow. I thought we were above this.

My love for Ryder is only growing. Same here. But I don't think either of us can compete with Cena.

OK, this isn't a new thing and its not weird or just people being picky internet fans.
When Ryder's fan base started to grow he was rather obscure, relegated to Superstars (which most fans don't watch) and his Youtube show. It stands to reason that now with him being a regular on RAW and having PPV matches that more people who were not aware of him or were ignoring him before are now exposed to him. THUS, it stands to reason that some of those people would not care for him. Before, Zack's fans were the only ones watching him and writing about him on here. They already liked him and were going out of their way to do so. Now that he is more mainstream and more of a regular some people that chose to ignore him before are not going to like him.
This isn't some hive mind where suddenly everyone hates him turned on him for getting pushed. Its a case of people that were ignoring him before seeing him for the first time and not liking him.

Mmmmmm nope.
I think the benefit that Ryder's going to have over a lot of guys is that a lot of his success is on his shoulders. It's him scraping, getting himself over online, building a fanbase, and the people that followed him through are going to stick with him, instead of turning against him like they did with Cena.

I've never watched Ryder's online show, but I've seen a lot of references to it on here, and after watching him for a few weeks on Raw, I've become a fan. He's pretty damn cool. ;D

I think Cena is contaminating him. Sheamus' popularity seems so much purer by comparison, if you think about it. The only major difference (ignoring body-type, wrestling style, complexion, accent, skin tone, nationality, etc.) is Cena's vocal support!
Someone put a muzzle on dat boi Geaaannn Cenerrr before Ryder gets infected with Dueling Chant-itis

Yes, John Cena is your dad. Deal with it.

WOO WOO WOO!" Also, back when he was Superstars top star(...what a sad title) there was a LET'S GO RYDER/RYDER SUCKS dueling chant as well. It was a good 6 months ago though, I think.
