For the record, I didn't mean to single out the 2 users in the opening post, I was only using their posts as proof that it's going to eventually happen, if it hasn't already. I'm not trying to stir anything up. Secondly, who the f*** makes threads about posts from other threads? Read the above.

I've never watched Ryder's online show, but I've seen a lot of references to it on here, and after watching him for a few weeks on Raw, I've become a fan. He's pretty damn cool. ;D Son of a ***** it's Megalon

I think Cena is contaminating him. Sheamus' popularity seems so much purer by comparison, if you think about it. The only major difference (ignoring body-type, wrestling style, complexion, accent, skin tone, nationality, etc.) is Cena's vocal support! Someone put a muzzle on dat boi Geaaannn Cenerrr before Ryder gets infected with Dueling Chant-itis It's like when you were a teenager and your parents liked something you liked, it instantly made it less cool! Yes, John Cena is your dad. Deal with it. I don't know about that. My dad thought that both the video and the song for Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun were great, and I still like both of them. And my mom was/is a fan of the Monkees and the Beatles, and I still like both of them. Of course, she was also a fan of Jimmy Buffet, and I'm not, so take that as you will.

WOO WOO WOO!" Also, back when he was Superstars top star(...what a sad title) there was a LET'S GO RYDER/RYDER SUCKS dueling chant as well. It was a good 6 months ago though, I think. Back when he was heel?

Getting more exposure means Ryder's going to be seen by a lot more people, and not all of them are going to enjoy his schtick.

I think so, not sure. Then again, I am a firm believer that absolutely no wrestler stuck on Superstars is either "face" or "heel." They are all "Primo."

I've never understood the obession with this guy. WWE tells him to use YT to make fans think he's getting the shaft and everyone falls hook, line and sinker. Do people really think he spent his own "not pushed" paycheck to make that professional Internet Championship belt? Then even when company face & pitchman keeps mentioning him and backing him up, people still think he's getting "overlooked' so they begin taking signs and chanting his name. He even has more merchandise than 90% of the roster, yet people still keep saying he's not "pushed" or "used". Now he's main eventing with his buddy Cena who tells people to "sing a petition". Give me a break. This guys (Jersey Shore) gimmick is awful and if it was in TNA many would say as much. It's just as awful as the one TNA had not long ago.

I've liked Zack Ryder since his ECW push days and I haven't been given a reason to stop now. Hell, it's gone more because he actually did something to make himself stand out. In the days of people letting themselves rot until they get axed and end up working for crappy indies with the occasional Japan/Big Indy/TNA gig, that is something to be applauded.
I will say that I can see why people would be fed up with him, though and I do find it weird that the foundations of the Ryder/Ziggler fued has only been mentioned on ZTLIS and not on TV. They just revealed an evil twin twist, for pete sake!

He did buy thousands of dollars worth (did he say the actual amount on Art of Wrestling?) of WWF Action Figures on eBay on FCW money. I wouldn't doubt he would do that I don't know why anyone doubts him. He DID retire Tommy Dreamer.

Not everyone is going to like him, you have to accept that. I personally find him very fun and I applaud for what he did, but if someone doesn't like him, or any other wrestler I like I'm perfectly fine with it. Different strokes for different folks.

For the record, I've never been a Zack Ryder fan (he's okay in the ring, but I find him annoying as a character).
But if he stays over, and the crowd keeps going insane for him like they did last night; and if he boosts ratings, then it's only good for business if he gets a push. So I have no problems with that.

If you seriously think Ryder's youtube show was set up by WWE, then you're insane.
Ryder was literally on the brink of getting fired, he's said so himself. He went out and got himself over by appealing directly to the fans. WWE didn't give him a chance to be on TV post-ECW, so he did it himself. He's being rewarded now because, guess what, he got popular. It doesn't hurt that he realized the importance of social media just a few months before WWE went nuts for it.
He's definitely getting pushed now, and it's a well-deserved push. I'm happy, not only as a huge Ryder fan, but also because it shows that sometimes guys who work hard get rewarded for it.

Getting more exposure means Ryder's going to be seen by a lot more people, and not all of them are going to enjoy his schtick. This. It was the same when Daniel Bryan made the switch from NXT to the Raw roster. People who only watch Raw got their first exposure to him and some wondered what all the fuss was about. Granted Ryder's been on Raw a while, but it only now feels like you can't miss him on tv. He was an easy to avoid midcarder for a while.
