Billy Gunn. The guy was fantastic, yet everyone buys into this bizarre theory that he sucked. Absolutely. It's revisionist history at it's worst.

You must have misread the title, it's UNDER not OVER.

You must have misread the title, it's UNDER not OVER. I am sure he is speaking about skills. Ted Dibiase has said on numerous occasions that Hulk Hogan, as a wrestler, is terribly underrated.

I am sure he is speaking about skills. Ted Dibiase has said on numerous occasions that Hulk Hogan, as a wrestler, is terribly underrated. Hogan seemed like Cena in that he could do more, but for one reason or another, had to wrestle a limited style.

Billy Gunn. The guy was fantastic, yet everyone buys into this bizarre theory that he sucked. Absolutely. It's revisionist history at it's worst. I don't know about that. Even when the NAO were at their height around 1998 or so, I thought he was sub-par in the ring and annoying on the mic.

Luke Gallow's in-ring skills don't seem to get the credit they deserved. I thought he was an excellant wrestler. Yeah Luke Gallows would be one of the first answers I would think of for this too.

This. He is always referred to negatively when being compared with Shawn, but he was amazing in the ring. Too bad he let his personal issues cut his career short.

I've added a poll using the answers that have already been given, we've ended up with a very mixed bag, should be interesting!

My vote goes to Essa Rios; when people talk about the great Light Heavyweights/Cruiserweights of the '90's, his name doesn't come up a lot, unless it's in regards to Lita. And his Moonsault was immaculate.

Goldberg
not the greatest wrestler ever but the hate you hear in regards to his performances seems unjustified. Especially as he learned more of his craft and adapted some MMA style holds into his moveset

Dean Malenko......greatest wrestler to never really get his due in the ring, over/title wise. The dude was fantastic.

There have been so many underrated wrestlers in history, but I'm going with Joey Mercury.
