Still the best PPV since Summerslam 2002.

Well, on Smackdown tonight, Daniel Bryan broke his losing streak and appears to be back on the upswing, and his facial hair is becoming a life force in itself. CM Punk won a kick ass match with Christian and is getting back some of the heat he lost in his encounter with the human vacuum, Triple H (sucks and blows at the same time yadayda). Both guys have WWE/World title matches lined up for the future. MITB was really all about those two to me.
I'm feelin good.

It basically went all downhill from there.

My interest was insanely high at MiTB and the aftermath of the next couple of nights.
Three months later, I haven't bothered with Raw for two weeks in a row.

It was an amazing moment in time, even Mark Henry v Big Show was good that night.

To me, MITB was like the giant explosion of a red star, before it becomes a white dwarf. WWE seems to be shrinking and I don't see any future star on the horizon, who can redeem the business.
Certainly the last PPV with a red hot crowd, which we used to take for granted during the 90s.

The absolute pinnacle of WWE television this year. It made CM Punk into a star, 2 phenomenal MITB matches, a fantastic World Heavyweight Title match with an incredible crowd-popping ending (Ortons "everyone thinks im crazy anyway" face was legendary), and Cena's best match ever in the WWE.

It was everything a pay-per-view should have been. A hot crowd, great matches, and a storyline built up so that you just had to see how things were going to play out. And the ending made me so excited to see both Raw and SmackDown the next week because I just had to know what was going to happen. How they managed to mess all that up is beyond me.

I'm with everyone else on this one; spectacular show that was so disappointingly followed up.

I am so glad I watched it just to see Punk/Cena and didn't expect the majority of the card to be as great as it was. Even Henry/Show was pretty good in what it did.
The two big moments to me was first the obvious one (and seriously, WWE could not have made that moment better which makes the follow up even sadder) and Bryan winning the MITB because, honest to everything holy, I thought he'd be the LAST person to win that match and I was marking out hard at it.

The main event was probably up there with Canadian Stampede in having an awesome match taken into the stratosphere by an insane hometown crowd.
