...or how many times they get embarassed as faces and heels.
There is NOTHING like it when WWE make Kane/Show/Henry look like proper monsters. You know, when they get that yearly monster heel push before turning into jokes.
Its awe inspiring.

I think it's more yawn-inspiring, but to each their own! (This isn't a knock on you, I'm just not a fan of the whole monsters-who-squish-everyone deal.)

I was mildly entertained by what Show did at the end, simply because he is strong enough for you to believe it.
Kane on the other hand? He never really pulls anything new out? He'll hit the chokeslam, then just look at you and laugh.

It's nice for a few weeks. But when you realize that they're just being used to put over a big-time face that doesn't even need the rub to begin with, it starts getting a bit old.

Henry's monster push actually felt fresh and new.
I don't mind Kane's annual monster routine.
But I am now officially bored of Big Show. I hope this is his swan song.

It's just silly at this point that once a year Show will suddenly become ridiculously violent and mean, then after a while go back to being a goofy lovable big guy. Like, was he just having a bad week?

Henry's monster push actually felt fresh and new. I don't mind Kane's annual monster routine. But I am now officially bored of Big Show. I hope this is his swan song. That about sums it up for me. After years of never quite making it, Henry clicked last year and was doing spectacular work. Kane can still deliver when they give him something substantial to work with, and even when they don't, he manages to be hilarious rather than boring. But Big Show... so far, there's nothing about this that feels any different from the dozen other times Big Show's been positioned as a big scary monster. If No Way Out comes and goes and we don't get "MY GOD CENA LIFTED BIG SHOW AND HIT THE ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DISPLAY OF STRENGTH I NEVER THOUGHT ANYONE COULD LIFT THE BIG SHOW", or an inconclusive ending that sets that up as happening next month, then I might start getting interested.

It's just that every time Show does it now, they just set up for him to lose to Cena. And the last time Kane did it, he lost to Cena. It's just an annoying gateway.

I was certainly yawning during Show's display tonight. It was impressive, but so much staring angrily and just knowing that all this can lead to is him beating a lot of people up then losing to Cena. They've done it too many times, I'm not buying it anymore.

I love Henry's last run and I loved Show's last heel run with Jerishow and slamming Cena through the spotlight but this has been awful so far. We need new monsters, not one's that have been with the company since the late 90s. Put Show in a mask and call him something else. Anything different!

Kane's body is breaking down. He is nowhere near as agile as he was even just a year ago. The more I watch him, the more I think this is his last run.
Ending with Show was awesome. Happy baby face monsters suck. Who wants to cheer for Goliath? Although his opening 15 min promo seemed a bit long. Seems like could have gotten the same point across in 5-7 minutes.

Show gets a bad rap for "stopping guy's momentum", but truth be told, if it is his swan song, he's a humble enough guy that he'll put someone over without some cheesy Flair/HBK style sendoff. We now have one of two possible outcomes.
1.) Brodus Clay has now been shown as vulnerable. We will now possibly see a more SRS' Brodus in the weeks to come, possibly even taking Show to the limit once they actually have a match.
2.) They could do Big Show vs. Alex Riley with Cena in A-Ry's corner, "helping him in spirit". Cena only interferes because Show refuses to finish A-Ry off and instead beats him around to send a message. You could even replicate Cena's WM20 victory by having him hit Show with the chain and A-Ry hitting the Final Score. Not only do you further the Show/Cena feud, but it's a good way to turn Riley's losing streak around.
Rather than having Cena be the one to "finally" take down an "all powerful" giant, you have him lend support to the midcarders and have them continue to frustrate Show until he takes out his rage on Cena. It's a good way to emphasize Show's "the whole locker room is against me" argument.

Like, was he just having a bad week? Pretty much. Big Show as a "nasty" heel means nothing, because you know in two months, he'll be the big, goofy bastard he is 90% of the time again. That said, and I can't believe I'm saying this, they DID do Mark Henry right when his big push started.

I want Show to come out on top but I'm sad I know he won't! Can't Show be the one to send Cena away for a bit? He needs the time off anyways. I like Cena but I want Show to get one more massive heel run. But more on point with the thread, I do love monster pushes when done right... Mark Henry/Kane's original push/Brock Lesnar/Umaga's original but despise it when it was bad - Khali/Tensai(I am starting to see people's points)/Kane has had a few stinkers/Big Show is the king of bad heel turns.

Does anyone even know what Kane is at this point?
Has he finally lost track of what he's supposed to be?
Do we now need to change the scale to Face-Kane-Heel?

Personally I hope Show beats Cena at NWO. Cena goes away for a bit. Then either Brodus Clay or another face who they plan to push gets the win over Show.
