Mystique is only Rogues adopted mother. Has that really been confirmed? Because I haven't read an X Men comic in ages but last I remember, Rogue's true parentage was never revealed. From what I remember there were more than a few hints that Mystique and Destiny were her biological parents. In fact I'm almost certain Chris Claremont said something to that effect. Now I think about it, there's no way in hell audiences are gonna accept that. It'd be way to weird for them. Claremont supposedly intended Mystique and Destiny to be Nightcrawler's biological parents, but it was considered too controversial and his father was instead the aforementioned Azazel, demonic like mutant in a hell realm, because that of course is far less controversial.

Hey maybe they'll follow the Days of Futures past story as closely as they did the Dark Phoenix one.
Ugh.

Why can't Marvel, Sony, and Fox just work out a deal to where we can see X-Men and Spider-Man in Marvel film productions? The money involved would be insane for all parties.

I would say also whoever owns the Fantastic Four movie rights, but those movies weren't that good from what I hear. Cloud Galactus, for example.

I am not the biggest FF4 fan as I only really enjoy Doom, Thing, Torch, and of course Galactus. I think they shoud just leave FF4 alone. Many people will say "So, Captain America is the Human Torch as well?"

Why can't Marvel, Sony, and Fox just work out a deal to where we can see X-Men and Spider-Man in Marvel film productions? The money involved would be insane for all parties. Because quantifying how much each organisation would have to put in to get out would likely be too much, not to mention the argument that Fox or Sony wouldn't want 'their' franchises playing second fiddle to ones they don't and who would get more screen time, plus the whole idea of having Spider-Man and Wolverine in Avengers movies before some of the more comic book classic Avengers is anathema to some people. I could see Marvel doing a deal with Sony. Sony are haemorrhaging money, and a deal that would see them able to get profits without spending would likely be something they would appreciate, plus with things like the Playstation allowing for potential exclusivity game rights to be worked in to a deal could work really well for them, and there is some precedence. Fox on the other hand......I just can't ever see Disney and Fox doing a deal.

'Days of Future Past' Title Registered by Fox with MPAA While the title implies time travel, I can see the film basically being about sentinels and/or Genosha. No way the "Days of Future Past" storyline as is gets transcribed to screen.

No way the "Days of Future Past" storyline as is gets transcribed to screen. Not exactly as is, but if they introduce time travel/alternate timeline elements, they can easily fix the continuity mess in the X-Men franchise. I think it's a good idea. On a sidenote, I absolutely hate Kitty Pryde, so I hope they replace her with another character.

I actually finally got around to seeing X-Men: First Class today, so I'm excited about the sequel.

Mr Sinister......PLEASE use Mr Sinister as the villain they sort-of already did though. Sebastian Shaw had more in common with Sinister than he did with his comic counterpart. I'm all for this. I liked X-Men First Class and as long as the movies are good I could care less if Marvel gets the rights back. Marvel not having the rights to some of their characters keeps Wolverine and Spider-Man out of the Avengers movies. also, glad to know I'm not the only one here who hates Kitty.

I'd kind of prefer a prequel to First Class.
Magneto: Nazi Hunter would be the best movie ever.

days of future past will just crap on what they've already done in films because they're already used Senator Kelly but they've already shown they don't care what they've done on film before

(Though given he was strongly linked with both Sabertooth and Mystique, I don't know how they'll link his hatred of mutants with his family, unless they make him like Raven's brother or something).
