No. Five defenses for a spot at either the IF or FA titles, ten for the WH title. That's what it had been since its inception. El Hombre de Hazz pursued the Freakin' Awesome title at TAPPV because he chose it over the IF title. Connor prompted about going the distance to ten defenses. Viva and I always intended to book the FA title as being equal to the IF title.

you were gone for a while. When? According to BRB you were inactive for a while.

Man, I miss El Hombre de Hazz, he had nothing on El Hombre de Jazz though I am tempted to change some EHdJ text to El Hombre de Hazz. Just to mix things up. As for you Square, it might have been my perception, chuy there seemed to be a decent span of time - a couple weeks - in which you seemed inactive. But here you are. It's nothing personal - just housekeeping. Also, I have a challenge for all match writers: get your entrances written by tonight. Music, description, and commentary. You don't need results for that. And just so everyone understands the Money in the Bank or Botch matches: - Every match has two frozen turkeys: one with a title shot contract and one with a pink slip; yes this means three pink slips. - The turkeys are frozen so that contestants don't know what is in any turkey without great effort on their part. - The turkeys will be thawed the next Niteraw, where every winner will find out what they got. - For voting purposes, the high score gets the title shot. Standard logic would dictate that either 2nd or last place should get the pink slip, but y'know what? I'm going to give that honor to 3rd place if no one objects. Last, I have decided that for Special Guest Referee matches, players vote on the SGR, and if the SGR wins the vote, their vote is tripled. If they get second, it's worth double. If they are any lower, their vote is standard.

There was a span of nine days between promos. I just checked. That said, they were spaced out due to others who promo more frequently, thus my misconception that you promoted less than you actually did. All in all, my bad.
Anyways, I plan to send the card out soon.

Sent the Summerfest card out. Voting deadline will be Saturday at Noon EST.
When I send the results out, I will only tell the writers who successfully grabs a turkey, not what they won, since that is to be revealed on the Niteraw after Summerfest.

In regards to the challenge, I feel like I do need to know winners because Viva's match is before mine. Would he be able to do commentary after his match? And what would his mood be, whether he won or lost?
I can do the entrances with Muffer at least, but then I actually do need to know winners for the other things.

Well, I plan for the show to happen in the following order, as based on earlier in the thread: [glow=Gold,2,300]Money in the Bank or Botch: Elevated Scaffold Match for the Freakin' Awesome Title Shot[/glow]"The Digital Dragon" Connor Mackenzie versus "Lord" Brian Alexander versus "The Envoy of Chaos" Jeremy Dupoe versus The Smokin' VokounMatch: Smokin' Vokoun Commentary: Smokin' Vokoun [glow=silver,2,300]Interforums Championship[/glow]Bull Ant versus "The Head Detective" Aaron EnigmaMatch: Aaron Enigma Commentary: Aaron Enigma [glow=Gold,2,300]Money in the Bank or Botch: Interforums Title Shot on a Pole[/glow]Square versus "Big sMurfy" Evil M versus Mister Potato versus James TroyMatch: Evil Fluffy Bunny sMurf Commentary: Evil Fluffy Bunny sMurf [glow=silver,2,300]Freakin' Awesome Championship[/glow]Ghost Ant versus Vincent Van AgonyMatch: Ghost Ant Commentary: [glow=Gold,2,300]Money in the Bank or Botch: Ladder Match for the World Heavyweight Title Shot[/glow]El Hijo de Boiler Room Brawler versus Ryan Bergman versus "The Emerald Warrior" Gus Richlen versus "Damn Right" JacksonMatch: Gus Richlen Commentary: Gus Richlen [glow=Gold,2,300]"I Quit" Match[/glow]Jonathan Michaels versus Boiler Room BrawlerMatch: Boiler Room Brawler Commentary: Boiler Room Brawler [glow=Gold,2,300]World Heavyweight Championship 2 out of 3 Falls Match[/glow]Ryan Blood versus "The Punisher" Frank CastleMatch: MSB & Punisher Commentary: MSB & Punisher That said, I understand that this is not how it was listed in the voting card, which was copied from a text file of mine, so I apologize for that. So in your case, Aaron, Viva's match would have yet to occur, so you can carry on with his commentary. Your point stands for Gus, Me, MSB, and Punisher though... Obviously whoever writes commentary for the Freakin' Awesome Title match only needs to write for The Sam.

The next Niteraw sure is gonna be a doozy: - BRB signs and carries out the the final version of the contract as determined by the "I Quit" Match - Viva and The Sam are relieved of their announcing and authoritative duties - "Gorilla" Tim Hoss and Jesse King return to the announce booth - the new CEO is instated - JoNo might be signed to a new FAWA contract - the Money in the Bank or Botch winners find out their ultimate prizes - the first two Battle Bowl Entrants are to be determined
And hopefully next week is the best 2012 supercard show yet.

That's a good point. That Niteraw is going to be HUGE.
Summerfest should be awesome though. So many good matches.
EDIT: On another note, any long time guys still have the link back to the original site where D-Day Dave used to post the shows on like a blog site?
EDIT 2: Nevermind, it was really easy to find apparently I just need to trust google more often.

Uh... whoops. Let me go change that to "might be." I think I was thinking of the original contract before that item was contested and went on autopilot.
Also, do we have a commentary writer for the Freakin' Awesome Title Match?
And did anyone not receive a voting PM? Let me know ASAP if you did not so we can fix that.

Just focus on the match for now.
That said, let's keep the votes coming. One whole day left. 14 in so far out of... 20 I believe...

Here's my next writing challenge for everybody: write the first "act" of your match. Establish the general psychology of the match now, and try to put over every contestant as a possible winner. Be balanced at this point, because the results aren't in yet.
This is not the time for the really big spots yet - this is when the wrestlers make their opening gambits that soon set the pace and tone of the match and to whet the reader's appetite as the match builds to the second "act" (which I will pose as a writing challenge tomorrow). Try to conceive different strategies for each contestant in your match - it makes for more interesting wrestling.
