Wow, WAR ROOM was in its 2nd weekend and in half as many theatres as COMPTON and won the weekend. Impressive.

5 N The Transporter Refueled EC $7,130,000 - 3,434 - $2,076 $7,130,000 - 1 Jason Statham would have led the movie to 1st place easily. Underperforming on a bad weekend? Can Jason Statham play Frank Martin in the Fast and the Furious series please? Fun fact but Jason Statham reprised the role of Frank Martin in Collateral and both films take place in the same universe. But can Jason Statham be in every movie please? As Chev Chelios? Why isn't Crank 3 out yet?

I hope The Visit does well. I think it looks real fun, and last I checked, was M. Night's first positively reviewed movie in a decade at least.

I'd put it at the lower end of the upper tier, with The Gift, Unfriended and Creep, above the middle tier of Lazarus Effect, Sinister 2 and Insidious 3 and certainly well above the ground floor of The Gallows and Area 51.

I literally have no idea what the bolded is. Glad to hear you liked it. At least, it sounds like you did. Looking forward to seeing it Monday on my day off.

They've put out a lot of movies this year, most of them have been at least a fun time.

Interesting note, the number ones for the last five weeks have had predominantly African American leads. I don't think this has happened before.

I wonder if LG is getting at all nervous seeing the diminished grosses for Insurgent and Scorch, especially with MJ1 already having a significant drop from CF. November will be very interesting.

Please stop making Maze Runner movies. Only saw the first, but it was just a complete waste of film storage space.

Please stop making Maze Runner movies. Only saw the first, but it was just a complete waste of film storage space. I had the same issue with the first Maze Runner film that I did with the first Divergent. It was 90% set up, very little anything else. I suspect I'll like Scorch Trials a lot more, as I liked Insurgent a lot more, because stuff will actually need to happen.

Please stop making Maze Runner movies. Only saw the first, but it was just a complete waste of film storage space. I tried to watch the first film and I tapped out after an hour. And I like Dylan O'Brien in Teen Wolf, but he's not quite good enough to salvage what's pretty much reheated Hunger Games.
