If they decide to ride Aries to BFG then damnit I want Aries vs. Joe for the World Title in the Main Event of BFG. 8 years in the making, revenge for Joe. That would be beautiful. Only 5 months in the making though, Aries just beat Joe last month. I guess they could do "Aries has Joe's number". Yeah but Aries didn't take the World Title off Joe at Slammiversary. That was what the 8 years part was referencing .

I'm always in favor of Joe being in/winning title matches, but I'm not sure if now's the time for Joe vs. Aries. I won't be against it if it happens, but I don't think things are moving that way.
Regardless though, TNA's built up more goodwill from me in the past two months than they have in the past two years, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt right now regardless which direction they go in. The last time I felt good about the company like this was the end of 2009, when AJ was giving the world amazing title matches and Desmond Wolfe and Kurt Angle were having the feud of the year.

Yep, Turning Point 09 remains my favourite ever TNA PPV. I do understand it may not be the time for Joe/Aries everything being considered, and maybe I'm getting a bit too carried away. But I can't see a better challenger for him if he holds the title to BFG.

It's looking that way again, but honestly even better.

Late 09 didnt have Appletinis, thus the product today is superior.

They need to push some heels now, make some new challengers besides Roode. I can see Magnus getting a heel push, he'd make a VERY good opponent for Aries, pushing the 'I'm a physical specimen while your a midget' kinda thing, like Bully Ray but more so.

A solid - good PPV.
Top moments: 1) Aries beats Roode for the title. Amazing match, fantastic finish. They had me believing Roode was winning no matter what.
2) I skipped through half of the AJ/Daniels match at first as lately they have been boring me to death BUT as soon as I saw what they were doing I restarted. It was great, it was different than most of their matches (which I feel tend to walk the same-old same-old routine), and it was satisfying to see Styles win with that sickening Styles Clash off the stage. Great job and hopefully the final chapter in the book of AJ/Daniels. I doubt any other match between the two (at this stage of their careers) will top it.
3) Jesse Sorensen turning up. I wasn't a fan of his in ring career or his promo ability (he's okay at both, and was working his arse off to learn pre-nightmare injury), but one of those moments where it feels nice and celebratory of his recovery to bring him in. At first I was cringing when he went into kayfabe feud talks but it did interest me in seeing when he'd be back which is very impressive for a guy I have no real vested interest in.
Otherwise: Tha majority of the X-Division matches were good, the Ultimate X I did enjoy despite it feeling a bit filler until the final moments with Ion/Dutt. In an earlier match I hated Flip/Skip (whatever he was called) as he gave off the air of being an annoying moron which did make me not want to boo Ion. I also thought the dude in the opening 4-way with the wannabe rock-star gimmick sucked. But two losers out of an entire show filled tons of other X-Division highlights is a good turnaround.
Joe/Angle dissappointed me and it's probably the first time I noticed Joe's weight bothering him a ton, Angle's passes/floatovers and stuff looked slow due to the fact Joe couldn't fall/move quick enough, and the german suplexes/angle slams Kurt threw at him looked plain awkward. It was okay, but "okay" isn't good enough when you have Joe & Kurt Angle in the ring.
Overall a 7/10 show, consistently good with a great main event.

Just gotta say Mason Andrews has some great tights. And that Tiger Knee is rediculous. It's like watching a Tony Jaa film. he and Kid Kash put on a heck of a match for two random guys.

As long as the bring back Andews and Rubix (and King) back full time with contracts I will be very very happy. Iv said it before and il say it again Andrews/Sky is one of the most underrated talents on the indys, I was incredibly happy that they put him over so much at the start of the show. The guy deserves a break, especially if his Dynasty partner is coming in as well.

This was the first TNA PPV I ever bought and I felt it was worth the money. The only thing I didn't like was Ion winning the title, but I understand it. So...no real complaints from me.
I'm looking forward to Thursday for the first time in a long time.

So, is there a gif of Kid Kash and his wind up middle finger yet?

AWESOME friggin' PPV.
My only gripe is that Rubix should've had the 3 matches instead of Andrews. Otherwise, I can't complain.

I'm a bit surprised to see Doug Williams vs. Kenny King isn't getting more love; I thought it was an awesome match.

I'm a bit surprised to see Doug Williams vs. Kenny King isn't getting more love; I thought it was an awesome match. It was good, and a very solid match for the middle of the card, but it did seem a bit hesitant (for lack of a better word) at times, as Kenny tried to work more of his quick offense in against Doug's more methodical approach. That said, I think that match and the Andrews/Kash one did a very positive thing, all-around; whereas the opener was a bit cluster-ific, and most of the rest of the X-action was high risk style by and large, these two matches showed that the X-Division can still work with slightly slower paced, even more technical matches, especially in Williams/King. Sometimes the crowd needs a reminder that the X-Division isn't all dive spots and lucha style.
